My wife was at Willowbrooke Court at Magnolia Trace for rehab. It was a nice place, and they gave her excellent care. They were well-equipped. My wife had a private room with two beds in it, a private bath, and it was adequate. She had good food, and she was very pleased with their care. Her therapy went well. The staff was very caring and very responsive. They allowed her to participate in some games and she also had some entertainment at times. They had a central location for television where they showed some special programs.

My mother went there for rehab after a fall. While she was there, there were two telephone conferences/progress reports between myself and the staff. Each time, they advised she was progressing and they recommended she stay longer. I asked if the cost would be covered by insurance. The answer was yes, her insurance would cover the cost. A few weeks after my mother was discharged, I received bills totaling $3,800. They tell me that is the portion not covered by insurance or Medicare. AND, she is still unable to walk. This place is all about milking the patient's family for all the money they can get out of them.

We needed physical rehab following a hospital stay for my Mother. The initial tour of the facility was very nice and everything looked up to par. My mother was admitted to the dementia wing because that was the only bed available with the assurance of being transferred to the rehab wing in a day or two. After 3 days I spoke with the social worker who indicated she would never be moved. I immediately removed my Mother. Beware, this place is just out to fill beds and collect money.
