My Father was a resident in the Alzheimer's unit. He recently passed away a few months ago. In the chaos of everyday life I never got a chance to thank y'all for the care you gave my Dad. I know the VA gets a bad rap in the press but every time I came to see him he was clean, well fed and happy and well taken care of. I thank y'all for that. Your staff was always caring and attentive to not just my Dad but to every person I saw them interact with. You should be proud of your people and pleaase thank them all for me.

My father was at Tut Fann for 4 years with advanced Alzheimer's. He was always well taken care of and the environment was exceptionally clean with absolutely no 'nursing home' smell. His nurses cared for him as family and we adored them. Highly recommend this Veterans home.

I have already found a facility for my husband. He has not yet moved in but he is on their waiting list. It is Fann State Veterans Home. He went with me and he thought it was very nice. It is close to where we live, so it would be very convenient. During our visit there, the staff seemed very nice and very friendly. The environment of that place was very good at the time of our visit. We are just pleased with what we saw with this facility.

I've visited this establishment many times in the past year to care for a fellow church member who is a resident there. There is nothing fancy about the facility, but it is certainly clean and comfortable. There are both private and semi-private rooms. The resident I visit has changed rooms, so I am very familiar with both types of rooms. All the equipment and furnishings are up to date. The staff has always been very friendly and helpful. I have observed that the residents appear to be well cared for, which often says a lot about the quality of a nursing home. As a former Home Economics teacher and meal planner for large establishments, I pay special attention to food quality. The food always smells and looks great, which is a big compliment coming from me! They have a small dining area and a quaint recreation room with TV. Since the resident I visit is bedridden, I am not familiar with all of the amenities, but I know they do have regular events in the rec room as well as an outdoors area. As I said previously, the nursing home itself is nothing flashy, but it is certainly clean and evident that the residents are not neglected.
