My brother is at Serenity Place. It's nice. We like it. The staff members are all very friendly and helpful. We've only been allowed to visit on the porch with masks. I haven't been inside except to move his furniture in. His room is nice and has lots of space, closet space, and shelf space. He says the food is good. Everything seemed clean to me. I've looked through the window, and I think the layout looked good, too.

Serenity Place Assisted Living and Memory Care was very clean and everybody was very nice there. My in-laws would have had a lot more room there because they could have gotten two adjoining rooms. However, once they moved out of the house, Dad was afraid Mom was going to get worse because she's got mild dementia. He's also afraid that they were going to want to move her to memory care, and if they move her to memory care, that means she'd be in one building, and he'd be in another building, he is afraid that she would just go straight downhill. They showed me the beauty shop and the dining area. They had an activities area and stuff like that too. It was nice; they just remodeled it. Everything was brand new in there. It looked like a nice place. That would have been my choice for my in-laws where they would have had more room, but Dad is afraid that they're going to try to put Mom in memory care, and then they would be in separate places by themselves. The staff members were nice though.

My mother resides at Serenity Place. I'm very pleased with the facility. It has every amenity that she needs. The staff is very attentive. It has a happy atmosphere. The meals are freshly prepared. The facility is very clean. They have activities and also local groups go in and sing on occasion. When searching for placement for my mother I was taken a back by the astronomical pricing most facilities require. Serenity Place is slightly less costly than other places with the same amenities and love and care. Anyone searching for placement for a loved one should definitely tour the facility.

My dad moved into Serenity Place. It's a nice-looking facility and surrounded by the woods. They have deer that walk up around the building at times, and it's nice and peaceful. They do well for what they have. The staff is good and nice, but they're just kind of short-staffed. They seem to have decent food, but since they only have one person who does the cooking, everybody ends up eating the same meal even when people have special diets. They have the residents play games, especially ones that use the memory. They have movie nights and people coming in to play music.

My wife is at Serenity Place and she has everything she needs. The staff is good. They have activities like sing-alongs, and they sometimes do Bingo. Her room is clean. They have a few books in the lounge area, but I buy the books for her to read. There's a lounge area that has puzzles, books, and a TV, and usually family members are sitting in there. The food is really great 99% of the time. They have a good-sized backyard in a fenced-in area. She's happy there.
