My aunt was a resident of LakeView Estates. It was just a good facility, really clean. They take care of her. The staff was good. They have a media room and stuff like that. They have things for them to do. She did not participate, but they do have activities.

I visited the LakeView Estates and I liked it. Some of the places we've been to, things are too far away for some of the residents to walk to. Like the dining room is too far and things like that. It's not that way here. The room we looked at was smaller but it had a bathroom. All the rooms were not the same, though. They had 3 different sizes, but I guess that's the way it is in all of these places. I didn't have any interaction with anybody other than the lady who toured the facility with me and she was very nice and helpful.

I visited Lakeview Estates. They had a courtyard, game room, and two cafeterias on each floor. The rooms were nice. They're all being updated as the people go out. The place is very clean. The staff was very friendly.

My father-in-law has moved into LakeView Estates. There are two deciding factors why we chose them. First, it was the most affordable place that we saw. Secondly, he is very attached to his dog, and they were willing for him to bring his dog with him, but none of the other places were. It's a two-story building and there are about 50 residents. There's a courtyard in the middle that is smaller than we would have liked for it to be, but it's at least an outside space that is safe. It's pretty standard, it's not flashy, but it is clean and well-kept. The only thing I didn't love about the physical facility was that the building was all carpeted. Everywhere else we went had hard flooring, whether it was vinyl tile or linoleum or something like that. The carpet was a little off-putting because there are accidents and urine smells and things like that, so I wish that they had hard flooring instead of carpet. I have very positive interactions with the people. They care about the residents. They know the residents well. They're very kind to them. We saw the menu, and it was very adequate. We felt like it was a good variety and good options for my father-in-law. They have an activity calendar posted in several places in the facility. And they also have an app that you can download on your phone. Whenever my father-in-law goes to an activity, they will check him in, so you can follow along on the app each day to the things that he's going to, which is kind of cool. So you can see if he's getting out or not. They have a lot of good stuff going on.

We toured LakeView Estates. I thought it was a great place. I was thrilled. I got to see possible rooms, and the staff took me through the entire facility. I got to see schedules for things. They have activities, and I looked at the menus for a week. They have a common area and things like that. The staff was wonderful. The girl who gave me the tour, her name is Noelle, and she could not have been of more help. Every kind of scenario was thrown at her, and she had a good answer for everything. The nurse April did the assessment on my mother, and she was wonderful. The room was very clean. It was about to be renovated because whoever had been there, had passed away. They always make some changes when that happens. The whole facility was very clean. The dining area was very nice and orderly. It was decorated with style. However, it is a little bit older.

Lakeview Estates had a very homey feel. We had to wait for our interview though, but we were sitting in an area where residents were also sitting, so we were able to see the staff coming through, talking to them, and interacting with them and it looked like they had a caring staff. They also have a good ratio of assistants to residents. The rooms were spacious enough, clean, sunny, and it was just a pleasant atmosphere. The person who did the tour was very positive. She sold the facility and was able to convey that. She emphasized the homey atmosphere and said that she liked working there. The place seemed clean. The only thing I didn't like was it was two-story and the hallways weren't as wide as I would like them to be, but those are small issues at this point. They also have two outside areas, and because they're completely enclosed, no one could wander away. They are not locked either. They could go out any time they wanted.

My grandfather will be moving into LakeView Estates. My overall impression was very good. It's a very clean facility. The staff is very friendly. It's the most affordable place that we could find, but it still has all of the amenities that he would need. It seems to be a really good fit for him. They are really good. I don't have the complete schedule of what they do, but they said they offer two to three activities each day. It's definitely enough to keep them engaged and active. I think I'll be quite satisfied once he's settled in there.

I like the LakeView Estates' facility and the rooms, but I did not see enough active residents. Maybe I was not there at the right time, but I didn't see residents out of their room doing any activities or anything like that. I didn't see any hands-on care, and I didn't see any activities taking place. I only saw maybe one or two residents that were out of their rooms, and they didn't seem to be interacting with anyone or doing anything. I talked to Debbie, and she was very informative and very friendly. The rooms were very nice and they were adequate in space.

LakeView Estates was more convenient to where I live, but they had carpet on the floor still and in the whole facility. It's just a real turnoff to me because you're dealing with old people that are incontinent. The facility was older, but it did not smell or anything. Deborah took me around and gave me information. She made up for everything and was just wonderful.

We went to Lakeview Estates on a Sunday and without an appointment. All the elderly were in the rocking chairs in front and looked like they were enjoying themselves. The staff showed us around. They were cordial. The there was good. It looked like they had a lot of activities going on which was a key for memory people because they had to keep them busy. They had art classes. They gave them magazines and did collages. The rooms were much bigger, but the place was a little bit older. The grounds were nice. There was a pond, and they had geese. Even the people on the second floor had a patio, and there were grounds that they could walk around on.

I toured LakeView Estates. The rooms were nice amd clean, it had windows, and you had to put your furniture in. They were remodeling rooms which were empty. All the people I met were nice and seemed to be concerned about taking care of their patients. The thing I didn’t like was it was a multi-story; the room I would be getting was on the second level, and you have to use an elevator. It had a coded thing to get it to go up and down, and I can see that is not always the best thing. I saw the people sitting out there doing exercises.

My mother-in-law is now living at Lakeview. She continually states that "these are the nicest people, they take really good care of me, and it is so clean." We couldn't be more pleased with their attentiveness to her and all of the family who visits her. Lakeview is a secure, safe place for our loved one. We know that she is getting the best care possible at this difficult time in life.
