ACT Care Group is located in Staten Island, New York, one of the five boroughs of New York City. It has a large community of more than 476,000 residents, and 16% are seniors over the age of 65. Locals have easy access to all the culture and attractions in nearby Manhattan, but closer to home, they can enjoy visits to Snug Harbor Cultural Center or the world-famous Staten Island Zoo. ACT Care Group is an adult day care facility that specializes in Alzheimer's disease and dementia care. Its goal is to help maintain seniors' health and to decrease the negative experience associated with dementia. It also allows caregivers to get a break so they can focus on their daily responsibilities or relieve stress. The ACT staff is fully trained on how to assist seniors with activities of daily living, such as dressing, grooming, and hygiene. Welcome to Cabrini Apartments! Believing that affordable, accessible housing is essential to promoting a healthy lifestyle for seniors, Cabrini Housing Development Fund Corp. opened new housing for the low income elderly in Manhattan’s Gramercy Park area in the Fall of 2005. Cabrini of Westchester manages the building. The 70 one-bedroom apartments serve persons age 62 and older who meet income guidelines set by the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Because of overwhelming demand, however, the application waiting list is closed. Any future application periods will be announced in this section of the web site.

Victorian Garden is a small, social day center located in a traditional, elegant setting which invites warmth, caring and dignity to all those who attend. A day center offers seniors with physical, emotional or cognitive impairments an opportunity to maintain or improve their level of functioning while continuing to remain at home in their community. Victorian Garden, opened in 1995 by the Flemming Family, continues the tradition of excellence with the following philosophy: Celebrating life in a compassionate and dignified manner.
