It puts my mind at ease that she has somebody competent helping her and to know that she's safe. The help has been good, as well as the communication. They follow through with their calls and I like the online family room. The biggest thing is they're able to get help last minute!

Both caregivers Maria/Syivie are striving to improve their knowledge of of being a skill CNA. Both caregivers are caring, responsible individuals. They have the ability to work in a self directed basic in knowing what is helpful to my husband care. The agency is very responsive to our needs in homecare. Thank you Mrs. Ameena for going the extra step.

Right at Home has been providing home care for us since November of 2023. We find the services are just what we needed. Our caregiver, Lourdes, shows up each day ahead of her scheduled time so she is never late. She listens to my therapists so she can exercise with me on days they are not there, prepares meals, does light cleaning, and prepares me for each day with a joyful smile.

The service provides CNAs to take care of my husband who has Parkinson’s disease and Lewy Body dementia. Their hours are 6:00 am - 8:00pm everyday. The communication is excellent between the agency/staff, the caregivers, and me.

My wife and I are both in need of care giving services - she because of cognitive issues and problems with balance, and me because of wounds in my buttocks, poor leg circulation, and serious anemia. As a result, both of us have mobility problems, need help with meals and getting our clothes on, showers and cleaning activities like washing our hair, etc. In short, the care givers provide assistance with our daily living. These services are provided to us 24/7 using 8 care givers. All are highly motivated to take care of us., and I want to express our deep appreciation for everything they do. However, there are those who truly stand out for their knowledge, motivation, and dedication to taking care of us. Of those servicing during the day-time hours, I must mention Becky and Patricia. Not only are they totally professional, but they are extremely pleasant to be around. They truly deserve gold stars for their work on our behalf. At night, Tracie and Tina merit our appreciation and applause. Getting me in and out of bed requires enormous techniques and knowledge because my legs just don't work very well any more. In any event, we are very lucky to have everyone helping us with what is now a restricted life. Ameena and Suzanne in the front office also facilitate the care giving and deserve praise and accolades.

They could be more involved in the care plan and following up to see that the patient's needs are being met. They could give their employee more domestic training, especially if they are foreign. Teach them how to operate a microwave, do laundry, cook an egg etc. If there is any discrepancy or anything to report like a fall, tell them to report it.

They provide me respite so I can do what I need to do. They provide him with company. They help him get up and make sure he is fed and cared for. I think our problem was unique. We only had three hour shifts. We had a hard time getting steady caregivers to come in for 3 hours. The quality has been excellent. I just do not know why we have a hard time getting stable caregivers.

My concern about the company is when they're caring for a senior and they have multiple caregivers coming in to help this person, the left hand doesn't know what the right hand's doing. The person on Thursday doesn't know what happened to their client the day before. There is no communication. They could be more proactive about his care as far as making sure his clothes are put away and in order. It's good having a companion there when they show up. They're there for 8 hours a day and I think all they do is watch television.

I'm less likely to recommend Right at Home because I feel they are a loosely-run organization, always substituting people. Everyone coming is new, and I have to re-introduce them to my wife and the system. Sometimes they show up late, and one time they didn't come at all. The caregiver that we have helping the client has a very good working relationship with him and we requested her. Right at Home was very flexible with us and allowed us to have her as his caregiver. We initially hired Right at Home for about four days a week, but the VA offered to pay half of that. Right at Home is accurate with that billing. My mother-in-law cannot care for our loved one in the way he needs because of her own health issues, so the services are a big help for both of them. It frees her up to do other things. Right at Home could not find a worker for me, and the caregiver they gave me was terrible and was never on time. Right at Home never was able to deliver a caregiver. There was not an impact. I would not recommend this caregiver. She seemed pretty nonchalant and did not care about anything.

At the beginning with Right at Home, we had a hard time getting a permanent person. Since we have gotten our regular caregiver, she is very good and knows what to do, so things are better. I had a stroke, so my right side is incapacitated, so the caregiver helps me shower, get things, and make my breakfast.

I have been very pleased with the people that I have met, and if I have any issue, the case manager promptly responds to the issue. I get the response either by phone, or the case manager will show up if need be. I was told that I had to get the care company because it was mandated for my mother to stay in her apartment, and I don't have a complaint about getting Right at Home.

I would tell someone that our main caregiver from Right at Home doesn't have to be told to do anything, that she is energetic, that she wants to help, and that she is not lazy. The most helpful part of having the services is knowing that someone is there with my mom that is alert and willing to help as opposed to sleeping on the couch.

The way that Right at Home handled the situation wasn't okay. The only way I was able to reach Right at Home was through email, and I was told that my husband would get someone for six hours when he had appointments and three hours when he didn't have appointments to provide him with help him at home. The caregivers didn't own up to their mistakes, either. The services had a huge impact because I was in a situation where I couldn't set most of this up. I could only communicate by email. The services had a big negative impact on my husband because he has P.T.S.D. and anxiety. He had to call the Veterans Crisis Line.

Right at Home's caregivers were very thoughtful and considerate. They took the client's interests and needs very seriously. We have had a couple of instances where Right at Home calls us and tells us that the caregiver wouldn't be able to come, but didn't have any substitutes. Right at Home hasn't been as responsive as I think that they would be in sending a back-up caregiver for the client. There was a particular day that the client needed a bath and needed physical therapy. Once or twice a caregiver wasn't able to come. Whenever Right at Home isn't able to provide care on some days, it can be difficult because he was looking to be bathed before his appointments.

When I called Right at Home to inquire about care for my father with Alzheimer's need for home care, they came out the next day and met with my mother and me. We tried other home care agencies and it was awful. The people were 45 minutes late and did absolutely nothing. Now we have Right at Home and we have actually found a care taker who can get my dad to shower!!! What a relief for my mother and me! He is a nursing student and takes his job very seriously, but is a delight to have around the home! Their administration is organized and follows up when asked for insurance etc. We love the agency!

We've done a lot of research for a nursing home for my wife. As of the moment we got her a home caregiver and we're quite satisfied, so we're just holding. Cathy M. is the name of my wife's caregiver. It took only about a week for us to find the right caregiver. We did not wait very long. It's only about 2 months now since we got her caregiver. So far so good. Basically, I think Cathy is a good match caregiver for my wife. She's a wonderful match.

We are working with this provider now. We chose this agency because it's related to the hospice that we had. My husband has dementia, so they help him with his personal needs. So far, we have 3 caregivers from them. The first two wanted to do the care their way so we can't work with them. This third one is doing well at the moment. He helps my husband with laundrying, turning, lifting, memory care and other exercises. Another reason why we picked this agency is that they can provide with 3hour shifts. Right now, we work with them in the morning and late in the afternoon. I will recommend this provider to others. They are flexible and communicate well. When there was a problem, they came to our house. They sat with us and talked about it. Furthermore, they are open to their consumers. They even asked if they can use the detailed care plan I made for my husband. I think they will just revise it to suit the client's needs.
