I use Senior Helpers. I use them primarily for personal assistance for my husband and my father. They come in and they care for them personally if they need help. They have been doing some cooking, preparing meals, and they have been guiding them to take their medicine. They can't give it to them in their hands, but they guide them to take the medicine. They take care of just whatever comes on in the house. They do activities with them, but neither cares for that. My husband plays guitar and has all kinds of things, and my dad is not interested. It has been hard for them. They tried, but they told me that they just haven't found the niche quite right yet. But they do visit with them, and they talk with them. I've asked for this one particular person to be the one that comes back time and time again; she is just so excellent. She'll initiate doing things around the house. She had emptied trash cans in the house for me. I came home several evenings, she was there until 6, and she had finished her tasks in the house. Just that kind of stuff around the house that needs attention and the medication and the meals, that's primarily what they have done. They have done some minor cleaning as well, like cleaning the bathroom or something like that. The lady in the management is always available to me. She knows my name. She has always been very prompt. There was one time when they hadn't billed me for something, so I called them and within minutes they made the correction and they sent me what I needed and called to be sure that they got it right. They're available anytime day and night. I called one night when I was working; I was going to stay all night. I called at eight or nine one night and I just talked to this person that answered, and she took all the information, and the person was at my door at six the next morning. They are very prompt, and she knows who I really prefer. They're very good and they've met our needs.

I wish I could give Ashley and her team 10 stars...They have assisted me so much with my 94 yr old father as we had to make an emergency move and could not get him in rehab for 2 weeks. They were amazing. Kate and Elvira took such good care of him we were able to actually get some sleep and run errands. The communication was amazing. I would highly recommend them for any needs you may have.

She was beyond kind to my aging parents and has quickly responded to our every questions, concern, and need. Kendra, our caregiver, has become a part of our whole family. My kids (the grands) adore her, and my oldest son today told me she will be a lifelong friend and mentor. Wow!! Not only is she terrific with my aging parents personally, but she also gives us terrific suggestions for how to converse with them regarding their changing condition as they age. Senior Helpers has been a lifesaver for us! We have used their services for my aging parents since September of 2019 in varying capacities from 24/7 care to overnight shifts, to emergencies, to driving to appointments and now regular, weekly care. They have always come through for us, even on relatively short notice and even during a pandemic!
