One issue we have had is that we were told when we started that the cost was one price, and it still shows something higher than what we were told. From the first visit with a RightAtHome manager and explaining the services that could be provided by the agency, we have been delighted. It has been a wonderful experience for me, as it was definitely a hard decision to make in the beginning. My husband has dementia and I had been his full time caregiver for 6 years. RightAtHome provided us with a lovely lady with experience needed in our situation. She is very professional, caring and very conscientious in all that she brings to our home. She always arrive on time looking very professional in her nice scrubs with name tag on, a beautiful smile and saying 'good morning' . She helps my husband with showering, dressing, medicines and seeing that his breakfast is ready for him. Then she will change the linens and laundry what needs to be, makes the bed and also some light housekeeping. My husband's fav coffee place in town she will take him to, along with a walk when weather is good. He has a struggle concentrating on games, but she does try a few from time to time. We have a very nice relationship with her, she is very easy to talk to and with her 20 years of experience in the field of care giving I have learned a lot from her. A RightAtHome representative comes by our house once or twice a month which is always a positive time to share with her. They are always easy to get a hold of in time of need. Thank you RightAtHome for being available at the right time and filling our needs.

He has Parkinson's, he has macular degeneration and severe hearing loss. The girls fix his meals, and they communicate with him while he is eating. One of the most important things is the physical therapy. They keep on him to keep moving. I love my caregiver. There are some things about the company that I don't like. To me, the girls work for me. Sometimes the company gives them a hard time about things like not understanding scheduling changes. I had someone here for 10 hours a day. I felt that the next day I needed a break. I asked her if she were to have a day off what day would it be. I talked to the company and the schedule changed for them to come every other week. When they weren't working, they would ask why they weren't working that day. There seemed to be a miscommunication. I don't want my girls to have to take stuff like this from the company. The company caused my girls a little grief.

It was pretty positive, particularly with the first woman we had. We were in the middle of a move and the caregiver was able to give me help with putting things away. A lot of that depends on the person that we had. We didn't have the same person every time. In the beginning, we were able to figure out the time that we wanted someone, and it worked out very well with that person. Later, the caregiver called me and told me that it was going to be certain hours, and I didn't have a choice of which hours I wanted. That meant that in the mornings I would have to prepare breakfast when previously the caregiver was making breakfast for my husband. When those times were changed, it didn't allow for her to help with bathing my husband. Basically, it was inflexibility of them being able to adjust the times to our needs.

When they first came, I had them 24 hours a day, and they helped with everything. I couldn't do anything for myself. I like that they are on time.

I used RAH in Brenham for almost 5 years for my parents. The caregivers we settled on were very good in their care of my parents and their home. They took a personal interest in them and tried to be creative in enhancing their quality of life. They interacted well with me. That was helpful as I live in a different city. If there was a problem, we worked it out quickly. I was very pleased with our team of caregivers and give them high recommendations. My parents were able to stay in their home until they passed away

When my caregiver is here, she is great. When she is not, I do have difficulty. I would like notification if a caregiver is not available.

The lady from Right at Home Austin West was wonderful. I needed somebody for two weeks for my mother and it turned out really nice. I would hire her again. She made sure she wasn't running away or getting lost, made her lunch, gave her breakfast, and reminded her to take her medication.

My caregiver comes on Saturday and she was a nurse for 30 years. She helps me get things done around here. I don't get the care that I really wanted. I wanted it in the morning, but I get it in the afternoon. I need personal care on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday. I only get care on Thursday in the afternoon, but I don't like it in the afternoon.

They are wonderful people who do what they are supposed to do. They are good quality people. Lucia helped me a lot with cleaning, that is what I needed because I couldn't use my hands. She would wash the clothes, mop, clean my toilet and shower, and wash dishes. I like the people they send here. They arrive on time, and they do what they are supposed to do.

The one she currently has is super encouraging, they push her to get up and walk, and they help her to do tasks rather than just doing it for her. I like how involved they are with the caregivers and how often they check up with them, and how often they follow up with me. They even called to make sure my mom didn't need anything when we had some flooding.

My mom has really relied on them a lot lately. They're just there for her. Just having someone there with her makes her feel safer. The people that they hire are reliable and clean cut.

It was very important to me. I thought it was good for a while. They needed to be regular and reliable all of the time. I wouldn't recommend them. They tried to send a substitute, which I was not happy with. I did not like the substitutes they sent. There were some troubles with my caregiver getting here sometimes, which was not good.

If I get too far away from my walker, I am in trouble, so they remind me of that. The people are friendly, helpful, and make sure I am balanced all the time.

I need a lot of assistance with showering and food preparation. They do a good job but they just do not stay long enough to help out. Some of the workers rotate a lot and do not stay long. It would be nice to have them be around and stay more consistent.

They help my mother and my father. They do hands on things with my dad. My mother has dementia. They are kind, good, and thoughtful towards them. I don't think anyone is perfect. The system itself is hard to deal with. People get sick. They really try to help me out the best they can.

The caregiver got the work done, and I had a little spare time while they did activities with my loved one. I think the caregiver was good for my loved one. I was satisfied with the helper, but I didn't have them long enough. I only had them for 2-3 weeks, but they were okay.

I don't live near her and there are places that she wants to go. They drive her places like to the bank or the store. They are able to get her out and that is a good thing. They are pretty expensive. We have had them for three years now. I like that when a caregiver gets there, they use her phone to clock in and out. I don't have to keep track the number of hours. There is turnover but that doesn't affect my ability to communicate with them. I also like that I have a person to call to help and they always accommodate us. I like the automatic way that I can pay.

They were wonderful, and helped us out tremendously. They took a lot of the work, the daily care of my mom, out of our hands. It relieved us from that work. They were very complete about what they offer when they came out, and when the ladies that came my mom were really comfortable with her and vice versa and they made her feel relaxed.
