After my Mother ;had a massive stroke, the family was unsure of the care we wanted Mom the have and what direction we wanted to move. The social worker at the hospital recommended Hospice and Community Care. This was the best decision we could have made. Upon arriving at the nursing home, we were greeted by Tina, the nurse from the Blue Team.. Their guidance and help, made my Mothers last days here on earth so comfortable. What ever was needed was taken care by them. Always available! We believe they were angels sent from God. God bless you Blue Team for all you did!

When my wife was at the intensive care, the hospital said that she won't have too much to live, and that the best possible care she could receive at the time would be hospice. The staff at Lancaster Hospice Center was very helpful. They have kitchen facilities there. And I even had a complete meal with her on couple occasions. She enjoyed that. Then it came to the part where they said that she's doing well, so we were thinking about retirement home for her. But she decided to stay home. So she had somebody from hospice to tend to her for about two hours, seven days a week. There were two different teams that came to the house. One team came Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and another team came Tuesday, Thursday and weekends. She had a bedsore, so that's what they mostly attended to her on the weekend, and they were able to get that healed. She was in hospice care for about three weeks before she passed.

We have been using in-home Hospice services for two months for my dear mother-in-law and they are WONDERFUL! Extremely skilled, compassionate, and caring nurses are on staff, with 24/7 telephone assistance available as needed. I would HIGHLY recommend this provider!
