Our Mom received 5 Star care from Comfort Makers. We were impressed with Naschell's level of care and Katie's responsiveness. I highly recommend Comfort Makers to care for your loved one.

We got Comfort Keepers Home Care of Portland for my parents. The woman who is working with my parents right now is a good fit. Mostly they provide light housekeeping, some light meal preparation, and time with my mom, that kind of thing.

Our experience with Comfort Keepers was really good. They were great. Good communication, good interpersonal skills and the person who came every day was great. I just want somebody there for my mother-in-law, but the caregiver was great with conversation, cleaned the house, cooked, and ran errands. She did anything that needed to be done. She did the laundry and changed the sheets. She was a really good person.

Comfort Keepers Home Care of Portland has been great so far. The caregiver comes one day a week and she does light housekeeping and companionship for my mom. She's very patient with my mother and we very much appreciate the quality of care.

It lets me out of the house, since I would be housebound otherwise. They do just what my dad needs and I feel so comfortable leaving him with them. They keep sending me bills, but they need to be sent to the VA.

The person we have working with us is incredible. She is a family friend and is working there. It was nice to bring in someone they knew and who was already trained. There have been some issues with payments and the communication between the CNAs and the office. The agency drops the ball. That is the only issue so far.

In the beginning, it was extremely helpful, and now it is still helpful, but not as helpful. My wife was away for a while and so at that time, I required more care than I do right now. They've taken care of my needs well.

We do not use the service very much. It is not their fault. We just do not use them every day. It is easy, and she loves the gal.

We worked with two caregivers and one was reliable but not very interesting and she talked all the time. The other one was quiet and appeared competent, but she didn't show up. One thing is that one of them never showed up and we didn't get any call or text or anything saying there was a problem until after when she was supposed to arrive.

It was just one visit. The caregiver did a lot of cleaning that was helpful. I wanted them to follow up sooner after the first visit.

They help the most by providing companionship and daily chores. I would say that they actually care.

When I took a shower, my caregiver was there to help me out. They're workaholics, and they look for work. They are really nice and respectful. They are always on time.

I lost a leg and I couldn't do vacuuming and wash the floors, and that's the kind of stuff they were doing. They were good talkers. If I wanted to chat, they would talk to me. I appreciated the friendliness of the staff that came. They knew what they were doing.

The service makes it a lot easier on me. I get out at least three hours a day now. They seem to try to be on time and to take care of my wife. They do whatever makes me happy.

She's had some surgery, so they come help her take a bath, and she's really needed that help. They do things I couldn't or wouldn't do. They've done a great job and have shown up when they said they would. They've really helped my mom.

It gave me two days to get out, and do my own things. Anytime the caregiver had to be gone, they would substitute with another. They got good substitutes.

The impact has been absolutely incredible. My caregiver has worked with us most of this year and she has been an incredible impact. My provider is really excellent. She is the one who works with me continuously. I wish I could guarantee her to everybody, but I know that won't happen, and she can't be duplicated.

They helped enormously and we will probably use them again. It was helpful to have someone else there to help out both of my parents when there was no one else at home to help them. It was an enormous help to have someone there as company there for my mom and to do small things that they couldn't do for themselves. They helped toilet my dad and they helped in kinds of ways. They were all very reliable and timely. They all seemed to be well trained to know what to do with people like my dad with dementia. They knew how to handle him and they were exceptionally nice.

I only saw them a couple of times. They could make sure that they stay in touch when trying to make arrangements even if it is difficult. They didn't seem to have enough man power, the person provided had a lot of other obligations that didn't have to do with the company. We really needed somebody solid to stay.

He was more at risk with the caregiver here then if she didn't come. She didn't lock the gate so the dogs got lose. They could improve on the person who called back she never called back and it seemed like she didn't want to talk to me.

The provider has helped me the most by getting the right person to come has helped me the most and helping to get her to get dressed. The whole point is to stimulate. A good experience is that she is pretty good at getting to get her to get up and interacting with her.

They are helping take care of my mother, and I live three hours away from her. I feel confident that they are taking good care of my mother by giving her medication. Even with working out some bugs about getting my mother her medication, they have been wonderful to work with. We worked together and solved the problem. They have been very good at communicating with me. We have worked with some problems. We have managed to work together to solve the problems we have had. They are providing good care to my mom.

One gal cleaned out my pantry and got rid of most of the stuff that was old. They dusted, kind of cleaned up some things, did some laundry, cooked a meal or two, and made it easier because I couldn't use my left arm to do a whole lot. I think I got my money's worth, because most were willing to step up. Some of them seemed bored and wanted something to do. The house is cleaner than it's ever been. One of the lady that came here was really great, but she had thrown some things in the garbage that I never authorized her to throw out. She put things away that we still haven't found. She put things too high in the cupboard, and I can't reach them. Most of the gals were pretty good. They would put things back. This girl didn't, and she just created havoc. She never asked me. She just went off and did stuff and created problems. The people that came here representing Comfort Keepers didn't stress that I had a nurse available. That could have been more clear. They saw that I was having problems, and everybody just stood there doing nothing. That didn't set well with me.There was a gal that came and spent the night because I had surgery, and she fell asleep in the chair and told me to turn the heat down. She didn't do much or help me much. I blew it off because I wasn't feeling well. Most of them were really great and caring. They did a great job.

THey could have done things without being told to do them. They could have taken initiative. The first person that came did not accomplish anything in their service.

It is hit and miss because you may get a good caregiver and sometimes you won't. I was paying them to do specific work and some of them would not be doing work. I had to call to get some of them changed.

They provide very polite and professional comfort aides and they're punctual and provide very compassionate care. They allow me to take a few hours off so that I don't need to be caring 24/7 for my father.

Comfort Keepers doesn't require me to use them every week and stay a certain amount of hours. They came fairly soon too. I didn't have use of my left hand at all, so Comfort Keepers helped me at all.

I don't even know where to start, I have never met a care giving company like Comfort Keepers before. They actually care about the elderly and the employees, care giving companies I have been with honestly do not care and tend to send random people to their homes, but Krista the owner goes out of her way to go to their house and personally talk to the client and family and once they find the right caregiver then she will introduce them. The main goal is to make sure everyone is happy and needs are being met, I could not be any happier to have found this company.
