We have been using Homewatch CareGivers for five to six months now. I don’t really like the service too much because the aides are very lazy, and they don’t do their job. My mother has to be under close supervision. I don’t particularly care for this agency. The work ethic is not up to par. Basically, what the aides do when they come here is clean, cook if she asks them to, and escort her to doctor’s appointments.

My father is a current client of in-homecare provided by Homewatch CareGivers, and has received their agency services since 2012. I submit this review on his behalf, and our family. The nature of homecare offers many benefits, but is not without some challenges. Despite these inherent difficulties we have been fortunate in our experience with Homewatch CareGivers. Managing in-homecare for a loved one requires a mutual and trustworthy relationship with the provider. The collaboration established with our local Homewatch CareGivers agency continues to move in a positive direction. As the primary caretaker of my father's in-homecare services, I am frequently in direct contact with management and a witness to the quality of the caregivers that provide the services for him in his home. Based on these interactions, it is quite evident that the Homewatch CareGivers staff continually strive to meet the needs of the client, and respectfully recognize that the client's needs and care are of utmost importance to the family. Homewatch CareGivers effectively provide the staff coverage that is critical to my father's needs, and when a conflict arises with scheduling an ardent effort is made by management to cover these essential shifts. It is without question that the ability to access management 24 hours a day is one of the most helpful aspects Homewatch Caregivers offers. Further, on the occasions when my father has needed more coverage due to an illness, increased coverage has been expedited to accommodate his increased needs. Assessment of his well being and needs is ongoing and adjustments are made accordingly. The Homewatch CareGivers management team are qualified professionals who participate in my father's care on various levels. Open communication with management has been essential to my father's care, and often provides a sense of comfort in knowing you are not in this alone. We are as equally grateful for my father's team of dedicated & skilled caregivers that treat him with dignity and compassion. It is this combination that allows my father to remain safely and comfortably in his home. Many thanks to Homewatch Caregivers.

We would be lost without the wonderful services Homewatch Caregivers has provided for my mother! Mom is elderly and blind, and with no family living in town, she is dependent on Homewatch to help her with grocery shopping, paying bills, reading her mail, and whatever else needs to be done around the house. The caregivers she has had over the years have been unfailingly kind and reliable. I am grateful beyond describing for what they do.

Senior citizens stick to their homes, even when their health is declining from old age, like flies on honey. Because being at home can be such an important aspect of individual identity for older folks like my mother, who needed help but wouldn't dream of forfeiting her home, the Homewatch CareGivers provided her with all of the services she so desperately needed. My mother's eyesight was going towards the end, even if her mental state was still completely intact, so the good workers over at Homewatch CareGivers were able to help her pick out which tiny medicine capsules she had to take for the day and which ones were no longer needed. They served as more than paid workers; they were friends to my mother at a time when my work didn't allow me to make frequent home visits the way Homewatch could. They are a trustworthy group and I would recommend them to anyone looking for an in-home senior care agency.
