I was a patient with always Compassionate for a few years. I am appalled and disgusted at the underhanded, cruel and heartless behavior these workers portrayed. A few more months and this company will be totally disheveled. These workers have no people's skill whatsoever and itis spoken off as common knowledge.... especially amongst the home attendants. The workers are treated horribly and there is absolutely no way to reach anyone in hierarchy, since all calls are screened then ignored. They don't deserve a whole star but I had to get them on Google board. Directors you're company is going under! I doubt this staff can even be trained. If you want high blood pressure sign up with this company. I guarantee you will get it!!!

Neighbors helped my family and me care for my mother before she died. Anna who was our night aide the last week of my mother's life was an extraordinarily kind and caring person. She was skilled at taking care of both my mother and our family in what was an intimate and very delicate situation. She was present and in charge without being intrusive. She was very caring and gentle with my mother and helped guide us through a very difficult week.

I hired Gloria, a Neighbors aide to help care for my 87 year-old mother during the Christmas vacation and it was a godsend. My mother has Alzheimer's and aphasia and the previous Christmas I tried to care for her myself but it was frustrating for both of us. My attempts to help her shower ended with a flooded bathroom. This year, Gloria came in every morning at 8:00 a.m. to help my mother shower and dress. She cleaned up Mom's room and helped her down the stairs to join our 9 family members for a relaxing breakfast. What a change from the year before! I will be hiring a Neighbor's aide to help out every Christmas from now on.

I want to thank "Neighbors" for helping my family and I to care for my mother when she died at home in September 2012. You provided a wonderful and necessary service to us at a crucial time in all of our lives, and we appreciate it. I would specifically like to commend Adama who was our night aide for the last week of my mother's life. She is an extraordinarily kind and caring person. She was skilled at taking care of both my very ill mother and the rest of my family in what was an intimate, and delicate situation. Her instincts about how to deal with it were right on target; she was present and taking charge without being intrusive in any way. She was very caring and gentle with my mother and helped to guide us all through a very difficult week. I would strongly recommend Adama for any nursing aide situation, not exclusively hospice. She is an excellent caregiver and a very wonderful person.

Having a Neighbor's aide help out when my 88-year-old mother came to visit this Christmas was a godsend. My mother has Alzheimer's, aphasia and uses a walker. She has a great deal of trouble getting up and down the stairs to the spare room on the second floor. Our aide came every morning at 9:00 a.m. to give my mother a shower, wash her hair, help her get dressed and bring her down to breakfast. Then she tidied up the bathroom and bedroom before she left. The Christmas before we tried to do everything ourselves but we were all thumbs and ended up flooding the bathroom floor and upsetting my mother. Plus we were exhausted with the effort. Having help from an aide made Mom's visit so much more enjoyable for everybody.
