They help with basic daily living tasks and helping her stay in her home. They can have more back up caregivers available. In case the main aide is not available or we need a fill in.

It was just the one who was problematic, they were very willing to go the extra mile to make sure that he was taken care of. She doesn't have any complaints when I spoke with her, they get her infusions and do port flushes. I know that one issue is that they don't have nurses that do midline placement and that was a gray area that we had to work around.

They have done everything we ask them to do. My main hesitation is that the gentleman here before spoke little English. We didn't communicate very well. He was a good caregiver, but it was just a communication problem. We made a change a couple of weeks ago to another aide that is more social. The agency made a big effort to find someone else that could communicate. The quality of the people they send is top notch. They provide nice people.

They pretty much take care of everything for me, like my laundry, my shopping, and fixing my meals. Let's just say I don't know if I'd be able to survive if I didn't have them. I feel like they genuinely care about me, and not about just coming in and collecting a paycheck.

I only had them four days. I came out of the hospital and needed an aide. She just sat there and didn't help. I was paying a lot of money for the caregiver to sit in the other room and read her bible the whole time. She never helped me.

They were very responsive to calls that I would make when I needed somebody. They were there when we needed them. I would have liked if there was a little bit more flexibility in the scheduling. I understand that people want a steady block of work. We had a variety of caregivers because our needs were different.

My nurse is very caring, listens to the complaints I'm having, and responds accordingly. It's changing my life becuase I've been unable to close my incision, so the caregiver has been working so hard to close my hole on my back. Without her, I don't think it would progress as it has.
