It is a huge impact on her. It is dramatically improving her quality of life and it is sustaining a higher quality of life at this time in her life. I think this is why my mom is still able to live with us. Everyone is kind, calm, and thoughtful. Our caregiver has become a part of our extended family. I have called other agencies and it felt rushed and did not have that same calm quality. They are understanding if we need to cancel. They are all consistently kind, caring, and patient.

It would be nice to have direct contact with the person providing the care for my mom. Although I understand that they might want to have a coordinator in between. It would be nice to have direct contact. The initial meet up time was a little difficult. I had to travel from Maryland to Massachusetts and the morning of the meet and greet I found out the care person they had lined up wasn't going to be able to do it. I then had to take another trip to do meet up a couple of weeks later.

The client has dementia, and it is wonderful to have someone come and take that off of me. I have liked the people they sent to us.

Without them on the weekend, I would be up the creek. I like that the girls are knowledgeable and friendly.

There were a few people who came in the beginning were not suitable, and they found me a new person who was very accommodating. My situation is unique, and I have moved to a new area, and I needed someone who could assist me with my new home. I have someone who is very flexible and does some housework around my house.

It is really important. The caregivers don't make it worse. I like the administration and we have good caregivers. We've only had one we asked not to have back.
