Dependable in Home Care is a third generation family owned company celebrating 41 YEARS of service. The owner and C.E.O., Joni Friedmann, has been helping families find the caregivers they need since the age of 14. Caring for their own father with Alzheimer’s for over 7 years at home, the Friedmann family recognized the overwhelming need for caring, experienced, dependable caregivers. Dependable was launched literally from the family home in 1969.

The ethical operations of their business and highest standards for caregiver recruitment have always been paramount at Dependable. Today, with over 300 registered caregivers and two locations, we are able to help families in both the greater New Orleans area as well as St. Tammany Parish.
