My mother is wheelchair bound and they travel all over getting her to church and then back for her meals. We've had caregivers from them off and on since the early months of 2020. When we would come across a caregiver with some concerns, it was always addressed. There have been some wonderful caregivers as well. We've made it known as well when we are pleased with a particular caregiver. Just with any organization you have some top of the scale employees, and others average or not as good.

The main issues were that we had some caregivers who didn't work out very well. There were also some lapses in communication at the start that created some anxiety, and it was not a good situation at the very beginning. This was communication between the service and the assisted living facility.

Well, if they had more training for particular ailments. My mom has dementia. That's not something that every caregiver is trained on. I don't know the extent of the training. They all have the basics down. But, if you were going to have more training, that would work. That would be the only thing the agency should improve. I like that overall, in all facets, the agency is doing a good job. One thing I liked was Joan's initial assessment. We've had good luck with a lot of the caregivers.

Stay Away from this agency! Independence 4 Seniors hires unqualified and untrained caregivers. They show up at all different hours. They are not attentive to the client. They are on their phones or doing their own thing. The owner is rude and has an heir about her and speaks to you in a condescending manner. Like your business doesn't matter. The agency charges high fees but does not put the money into training the caregivers. Some caregivers have no knowledge of caring for patients with memory issues or fall risk. It is a gamble to put your loved one in their care. The communication is poor between you and the agency. And Between the agency and the caregivers. It is a sad situation when you have to find care for a loved one and can't find quality care. It is hard to find good care for a loved one. Needed to write this review so you don't get stuck with a bad agency. Stay away from Independence 4 Seniors if you value your loved ones care.
