My mother lived in a western suburb and I live about 26 miles south. When I knew she needed a caregiver, I happen to pick up a literature at a little local restaurant that we call Honeyfield. I called the number on there and then the gentleman said that he could give me the name of their home health branch up here in the Dupage area. I found Liz to be extremely accommodating. It was my daughter who did the checking for me and eventually hired Home Helpers. They have come very well recommended. The caregivers they provided are very descent in performing their job. I am still doing very well. I just need little assistance around the apartment like light housekeeping and preparing meals. I have been with them for 6 months. I am completely happy with their service. I have no complaints or whatsoever.

My brother was using an in-home care provider and he was very satisfied with the person that he had. So I would rather start with somebody who has had and was happy with, rather than taking a chance on just picking an agency. I contacted the service that he used. When I called them they said they couldn't help me because I'm not within their area. They then referred me and gave Home Helpers & Direct Link's number. I only have one caregiver with them.
