I work with Bayshore Home Care, and they come in 2 hours a day, seven days a week. They get me up and dress me. We had them for about almost six years. They give me a bed bath. They're great. I've only had a couple that I wasn't compatible with, but most of them have been good.

The reason I chose Bayshore is because I was familiar with their reputation. I used to be a legal guardian and I have a lady that they took very good care of many years before my mother got sick. They were prompt and always very dependable. I talked to Pam most of the time. I don't know how she does it but she can juggle all these problems and make everybody happy. She takes care of scheduling people. My mother was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She lived on her own until she started getting too sick which was August of 2011. I brought her home with Hospice and they could not take care her and help me like the way we needed help. So I remembered Bayshore and I called them. I probably had about 10-12 of their employees at different times and we got really used to a couple of them. One of which was Lorraine who was just outstanding and so terrific that she stayed with us for about the last 6 months of my mother's life. She's very personable. She put that personal touch to everything and she was very understanding. My mother being so sick and she could be cranky sometimes but Lorraine never took things personally. She gave it her all. She did the best for my mother that a person could humanely do. She helped and taught me a lot of things on how to take care of my mother.
