This agency has jeopardized a live in daughter's job, not sending caregivers. They either arrive late or never show up, there is no one to communicate on the weekends. If a caregiver goes on vacation it's is a challenge making sure there is a replacement, agency isn't proactive in making sure the client has coverage. My mom is an easy client to take care of, caregivers get attached because she enjoys watching TV and take her out in her wheelchair for a stroll.

I have had health problems and my caregiver tries to help me improve and help myself. I have had an aide for a while and they are just absolutely wonderful.

It's helpful because I'm the daughter-in-law, so the nurse comes in and gives him showers and things so I don't have to do too much of that. Things have been better than when we started because I can call the company and make sure I know what the nurse is and isn't allowed to do, so things can get things done correctly. Also, on holidays, they call and ask if they can find someone else.

They are here while I'm gone, and they helped me get groceries one time. There isn't very much for them to do around here, but they do cook for him and help him brush his teeth.

It was a service for my brother. It got him through a period where he needed someone to watch over him. They could report on a regular basis their experience. They were providing 24 hour care but I didn't get a report for each shift if there was any issues.

They were able to get me to move around. I am partially paralyzed, so I can't do anything for myself, and they were able to do it. It would've been nice for them to have more employees to provide the services. If something happens, they need someone else to step in. I think they are too small and need more employees.

I think the interaction with someone besides me is the most helpful. They make it easy. Everyone is friendly and helpful. My mom hit of off with the caregiver.

They've taken some stress off of me. They took over some things that I was doing. I guess they can just keep doing what they're doing. Everyone seems to be nice.

She does anything I ask her to do, she is very polite, and she takes me to my doctor appointments. Assisting Hands Home Care has given me a real nice aide; however, they don't call me to see how the aide is doing with me.

They stepped in at a really difficult time for us and it helped a lot. Assisting Hands Home Care made it very easy. The communication was really easy. We needed someone at the nursing home overnight, and they would leave us notes. I could call the office if there was a problem. It was very helpful.

They keep good track of the sleeping hours and point out to the aides at the institution she is located at when she starts having skin trouble. We trust that our loved one is being taken care of.

I love my caregiver, and they work with my schedule to try to do what I want. I'm paraplegic, and there are a lot of things I can't do, so I'm able to ask them to help me with the shower.

I think they return texts in a timely manner. They keep me informed when something happens with the caregivers. Them working towards getting Spanish speaking interpreters is great. The first care agency didn't even try.

They are quite good because they come on time and they do their work. I can't do certain things myself, and my caregivers can do them for me. It makes things easier because I can't do it alone anymore.

They check out the nurses before they assign them to me, and they let me choose which of these nurses I like and don't like. They help me get dressed because I have a broken shoulder and I can't do it myself, and they bring me things I need.

The owner trouble shot a problem we had yesterday, and was able to resolve the issue. They have provided us with a continuity of care. They have printed up instructions for the aide, to know what they need to do to meet the needs of their clients.

They are able to help my mom in and out of the bathtub. The caregiver helps my mom wash her hair, get dressed, and make breakfast. My mom likes it. I was able to go on a road trip and I did not have to worry about my mom falling or changing the TV.

I had some very caring and very helpful home health aides here. I've found that they have been very accommodating as far as the hours that I need. They help me with personal care, bathing, some housework, like emptying the dishwasher which I find difficult to do. Basically, anything that I ask.

Assisting Hands did not provide Spanish speaking caregivers for me. I'm sure they have them in their employment, but not for me. I thought it would be easy to get Spanish speaking help, but it was not. My mom has dementia and only speaks Spanish so I needed that aspect of the care to make my life easier.

We had a lot of problems for a couple years, but the lady we have now is an A+. My loved one is very satisfied. The caregiver is reliable and puts in more work than she claims. The caregiver helps get my loved one out of the house and helps with the wheelchair which I can't do. It makes my loved one happy.

The caregiver who comes is wonderful and is good to my loved one. The service is making a small difference, but that's because my loved one's condition is getting worse. The caregiver has been helping a lot, but he's gotten to the point where he doesn't know what he's doing.

Assisting Hands was fine! Most of their caregivers were pretty good. If I had a problem with any of the caregivers, I just had to call someone, and they wouldn't come back. Assisting Hands made my life easier! It helped to have them do the things I didn't want to do so I could do other tasks around the house.

I cannot think of any reason not to recommenced Assisting Hands because they are responsive. I told someone I was interested in talking to her about the home care. We sat and talked for two hours, she wanted to just talk about my husband and get to know this remarkable man they would provide care for. I went part-time to be more available, but I was able to go to meetings for the university because there is an amazing woman to take thoughtful, good care of my husband and he is safe and well cared for.

I'd tell people that you may have to go through a couple of aides, but once you click with one, it's very easy and relaxed. The service from Assisting Hands has improved my daily life 100%. I can't do any straightening up or changing my bed, and it's difficult to stand on my legs. The caregiver does my wash.

Assisting Hands' care that my loved one receives is excellent and way above because her caregiver the caregiver is able to engage my loved one. My loved one is bipolar, and can be very abrasive at times, and the caregiver is so laid back. Assisting Hands has made our live easier by not only taking care of my loved one, but doing light housekeeping which is a big help to me because I literally do everything. That is one of the biggest reason my loved one isn't in an assisted living facility is because of the care she is getting from Assisting Hands.

Assisting Hands needs to work on their communication. As long as we got our regular caregivers, things were okay. If not, things fell apart. Assisting Hands provided 24/7 care for my mom. It was just me otherwise, so I wouldn't have been able to do it myself.

I refer people to Assisting Hands all of the time. I tell them about my experience with my father's caregiver, they are great. Assisting Hands has made my life easier because I just know that there is somebody there visiting my father and watching over him. The caregiver will text me if she notices something off, or if he's having a really good day.

Excellent response to our multitude of needs. From the first meeting with owner Becky and nurse Nancy , I knew that Dad with stage IV lung cancer and I were going to be in good hands. They found the perfect aides to meet his ever changing requirements and worked with me to easily adapt to our day to day changes.
