Our experience with Hospice of Marion County was wonderful. They were there for me. They did everything that they could for me and for my husband. It was just an unfortunate thing. He had dementia, congestive heart failure, and stage V kidney disease, so he was on his way down, but everybody was just wonderful. That was only for a couple of days, and they did all they could.

We went with Hospice of Marion County for my mother because it was recommended by the physician. They were wonderful and great for my mother. The caregivers were very caring, nurturing, and respectful of my mother. I really appreciated their service.

My mom was put on Hospice care in May 2015 and my brothers and I couldn't have been happier with them. The nurses were so good and loving. The social worker and nurse kept in constant contact with my brother about my mom's progress and health status. When my mom fell and broke her hip, they provided 24 hour crisis care until she passed away. The love and care provided was phenomenal! They were both professional and sincere in the care they provided. The chaplain was amazing as well. We are fortunate to have had such wonderful people care for our mom during the last 6 months of her life, especially since her children lived far away. We're grateful for these wonderful people!

Hospice of Marion County was great. My mom had them from in early January. They made sure everything was OK. The nurses were good. I could call up anytime and ask any kind of questions. The aide came over here three times a week, and they came on time. She washed her, bathed her, and got sheets for me. She went out of her way. She helped me out with whatever. She was great. My mom was always clean. It was special.

Well, the facilities where she stayed were very clean, and nice. Staff members were always loving and helping, not afraid to lend a hand. She was placed in a house with other patients, but the privacy was nice because they all had there own rooms. The hospice was not very old, maybe two to three years old. Landscape was beautiful with fountains and flowers at the entrance way. There was a kitchen that you could use to cook meals, or the nurse would provide food and drinks for the patient. I really don't have any negative comments about the facility, except it was a little far from where we live. The drive was about thirty minutes. In conclusion I would recommend The Hospice of Marion County Florida to anyone who has a loved one that is ill. You will be treated like family by the staff. The atmosphere is very caring, making everyone comfortable.
