I'm using Cornerstone Hospice and Palliative Care right now. They provide my meds, they provide incontinence supplies, and they provide ointments for rashes. They provide just about everything, and they deliver it to your door. It is covered by Medicare. You have to qualify for it. You can't just say, 'Oh, I want to be in palliative care or something.' The doctors have to approve you, and when I was approved, I was just barely approved because I'm really in pretty good health. They did accept me, but just barely. As far as what else they would do for me, I had them for my husband, who recently passed away, and they were very good. It's excellent.

Be careful when choosing cornerstone. At the time I needed them most, they were too busy to come out. They did not have any backup nurses to send. They finally showed up 3 1/2 hours after my first call, and 30 minutes after my wife passed away. The entire ordeal was a total nightmare.

My mother recently spent her final days at Cornerstone Hospice, and I am very grateful to have had the opportunity to be there with here. Cornerstone Hospice staff -- from the house manager, social worker, attending physician, nurses, CNAs, and volunteers -- were ALL amazingly kind, thoughtful, and caring. I have nothing but the highest praise for Cornerstone Hospice. Additionally, accomodations for those wanting/needing to stay overnight are include very comfortable couch that folds out to a bed (same height as the hospital bed). In the end, all that mattered was that mom was treated with dignity, compassion, and love -- and she was. Thank you!

My dad passed away in September but we did have hospice care for him. We hired Cornerstone Hospice for him. I would recommend them 100%. They're incredibly caring. There's absolutely nothing I could say that was bad about them. They couldn't have been more wonderful. The entire staff care for families as well. The facility was immaculate. We couldn't have anything better.

The staff at Hospice of Lake & Sumter-The Villages were caring, compassionate and just wonderful. They notified me if there were any developments or problems with my mom. The care they gave was just terrific.
