The night shift sleeps more than working because the patient is sleeping. Rosilyn and Bridgitte have been amazing. When you're dealing with seniors there's a multitude of problems that arise as they get older. It's essential that the aides are routinely brought back for retraining with emphasis on the fact that they're dealing with someone with multiple problems.

If the place is dirty, I need to immediately tell the aide and then help him clean it, and he won't remember. So I want more proactivity from them.

The owner of the agency doesn't seem like he is in the right type of business. He did more talking to me and didn't seem to listen. It was like speaking to a person who is a chauvinistic male who has egoistic issues who didn't like hearing any type of constructive criticism. He seems like someone who created a company as a source of income. He is dispassionate, impatient, and doesn't ensure all of his aides are up to a more uniform standard. I've gone through at least four home health aides. The aides who had come left the place worse than they came in. Right at Home wasn't my choice - it was assigned through the VA.

The physical therapy people were also really nice. But he only came once a week and only stayed like ten minutes. They do everything, and they do it all quite well. They are doing fine and make sure I am doing fine. They work diligently. I am 89 years old, and I am happy.

I don't worry about stuff anymore. Some agencies you have to have a certain amount of hours, and Right at Home was not like that. There is no minimum amount of hours you have to do. I was able to get exactly what I needed. They got it right with the first person they sent out. They listened to what I needed when I needed someone to care for my dad. They got the match right the first time.

It helped me tremendously, and I knew my mom was safe with them whenever I was gone. Sometimes the caregivers are rather harsh in their tone with the family. They've told us what we should do and didn't say it in a gentle tone.
