They could have made life easier by sending someone who wasn't pregnant and could lift my mother-in-law. She was more worried about the caregiver rather than her own care. The gal that they sent us was pregnant and my mother-in-law weighs 300 pounds and needed to be lifted.

There was a language barrier. He is 100% Spanish speaking, and little to none of the caregivers spoke Spanish. I like that the people that were assigned to the case didn't have a lot of issues with call offs or no shows. They were there and in attendance.

People can't get into the building without someone buzzing them in through the phone. The caregiver from BrightStar Care didn't call, but someone must have let her in at the lobby door. I had a caregiver here with me and then another one just walked into my apartment without knocking. Nobody has shown up this week from BrightStar Care and nobody has called me. I would like to have just one caregiver a day instead of three.

I would tell people that I had a problem at first, but they fixed it. Also, if you don't feel comfortable about your caregiver, they can change your caregiver for you. It's a tremendous relief to know that I can call and ask for help on a moment's notice, and it is also a tremendous help.

The scheduling at BrightStar Care was difficult, and it was hard to get CNAs to come out sometimes. I wish the CNAs had been more available because they weren't always very accommodating to my schedule.
