They said they could provide the 24 hours post-knee surgery I needed. They sent someone out to assess and decided, 5 days before my surgery, that my house smelled like cat and ratted out. Totally pulled the rug out from under me. I had done a careful cleaning beforehand. Yes, I have cats and don't notice the smell. They could at LEAST have warned me that it was a possibility, before dashing my hopes. If I cannot find a replacement company I'll have to cancel my needed surgery. Too bad that I have to give them even ONE star.

My husband has dementia. I use their services to stay with him while I go to church and go shopping. They do a wonderful job and I would highly recommend them.

I have Valley Home Care for a couple of weeks now. The hospital chose them for me the last time I was there. My care giver basically makes sure that my medicines are taken because I don't need anything as far as physical therapy or other things. She's really good about knowing how I am, what's supposed to be normal for me and what's not. So if something is not normal, she picks it up and says that I need to go to the hospital. She's also friendly, caring and very good. My care giver has a good attitude.

When I first requested for information, Valley Home Care was the one that contacted me and gave me the most as far as what they can do. They send a person over every other day. She helps me get out of bed, cleans me up and gets me ready for the day. She also exercises with me. She puts her hands up and I push her hands with my feet. My care giver is very good, personable and helpful. She's just excellent. She really does a pretty good job.

I went to look for in home care agencies on my computer and called them for information. One of those listed was Valley Home Care. I called them and I just liked the sound of the first person I talked to, liked what they had to offer and it just felt like a good fit for us. When we first asked help, my husband needed a lot more assistance with bathing but he isn't requiring that now. I can get him in the shower and he could shower himself once he gets on the shower seat. Reina, our caregiver helps me with the dishes, wipes the floor, folds laundry, makes the bed and gives me time to go to the store or the bank. Everybody we've talked with had been helpful and friendly, lots of empathy and caring for us in what we're going through. Kim is so friendly, helpful and always available. Reina, the young lady that comes to help us is excellent. We just come to really love her, she fits in with us very well. We're very satisfied. Another thing that had been so great for us is the flexibility. Reina lives near us so if I need her for another hour or two and she has that hour or two, she's able to stay. That means a lot because things can change all the time. Price wise they were good too. We compared prices with other agencies and they were affordable for us. It was important and a big factor at that time because we have limited retirement income. We're very happy and very satisfied with the care we're receiving.
