I am a friend or relative of a current/past resident

The rooms aren't as clean as they should be. Bugs are flying around, getting into the patients' food, and the food is less than fair. The staff is awful. They do not communicate with the patients or the family. They say we are doing one thing and not keeping their word. They don't check the patient's BP before giving them their medication. This has been a horrible experience. My father went in there, and the care was so bad he declined within two weeks he was there. The doctors only visited maybe once a week.

Avoid this location if possible. Very poor patient care. I have been there so many times while visiting my mom and other patients are screaming help over and over and the staff sits at the desk and plays with their phones. Terrible care on weekends.

My wife was a rehab patient at this community and the care was fantastic. The staff was extremely attentive, and the therapy was wonderful. The nursing staff were caring and always willing to help. The administrative staff were supportive and provided us with detailed information to her treatment plan.

If you have no one to advocate for you, it’s pretty scary. My sister-in-law has diverticulitis and they paid no attention when feeding her. They told me they weren’t aware what that would mean in terms of her diet. I had to Google and give them a short list of foods that cause excruciating pain. The physical therapists were great. But after being told that the rehab had a relationship with her senior living residence, they pushed her out the door and her case manager would never return any of our calls (we have medical PoA) wouldn’t call her primary care physician or the physical therapist at the senior center to inform them of her care at the rehab.

Do not send your loved ones here. The staff is useless and do not care about the patients. My Aunt's hair has not been washed in weeks, her bed sore has not healed and she's been in the facility 100 days. They have failed to rehab her after hip surgery and now she can't walk. It's pure NEGLECT! The rooms have no chairs to sit it. Also, after 6pm and the weekends you can walk right in without being asked where you are going..there is NO security or receptionist...very unsafe.

Don't send anyone there. They had roaches and put my mom in room with no air conditioner in middle of summer. 3days without air conditioner they have her a bucket of ice and table fan instead 😫. Nurse refused to take her temperature even with other staff begging too. She did have high fever & I ended up calling ambulance. Also, she was choking on her own vomit she was dying from it and I still. Couldn't get anyone to help me it was a. Literal emergency. If I'd not happen to be there that moment she would have died . She got. Pneumonia from. Inhaling it and almost died again. Pls don't send. Loved one there EVER

I am/was a resident of this facility

If you’re going to go there or have been referred to go there for treatment, TURN AROUND!!!! I would have rather been in prison. Aides are not trained, most professional staff do not care about the health & welfare of the patients, did not eat most of the meals served due to temperatures of the food, one early in the morning had to said 4 1/2 hours, and many more specific incidents and names of staff that I can discuss in detail if anyone would like to.

Staff very knowledgeable caring and would go above and beyond even buying food with their own money to encourage my friend to eat. Oh great nursing as therapy care.

I visited this facility

I was very disappointed when I visited. The outside appearance is nice from the front. The courtyard in back is overgrown and not very inviting. The facility inside was clean at the front desk, but once you get down the hallway and see the dining areas you get a different feeling. The rooms are small and cramped and the furniture is very cheap and broken. The food served is not nutritious. The staff was hardly around and I noticed that other residents were in need.

This is NOT the place to place your loved one. The quality of nursing care is poor (only a few good nurses and good cna's here and there), facility is often short staffed, and short on supplies and they lack the necessary equipment to provide adequate care and rehabilitation. The Rehab Dept. and it's Director put forth very little effort in truly rehabilitating people and cut off rehab services quickly and will bill your insurance for anything they can. You never see the Administrator or the Director of Nurses and they never resolve issues that are brought to their attention

I like The Rehabilitation Center where my aunt is. They keep you clean in there, and I like the way they do the patients in there. I love it. That's why I decide to keep her there because they look out for her. They give her baths and take care of her. Get her up in the morning time and get her dressed. She is in a room with a roommate. They have beds in there, a closet, and a dresser, and the rooms are very clean. The staff is great. If you say you have a problem, they will solve it. They take into consideration to do whatever they can do to help you out. If they are to fall, they will take them to the hospital and have it checked out. They will give me a call if something like that happens to my aunt. When she fell when she forgot to put on the lock on her chair, they took her to the hospital and they called me. They have a salon up there. A guy goes up there every two weeks to do their hair and stuff like that. The food is good there, and I think they are doing a really good job out there.

I am a friend or relative of a resident

My grandmother recuperated in this center after falling and breaking her leg in November 2006. Overall, her experience was quite positive (apart from the unavoidable homesickness). A couple of years ago, my grandfather stayed here for about a week to give his caregiver (my mother) a break. His experience was also satisfactory, although there were some complications that were probably nobody's fault (he choked on some rice because we were unaware of his swallowing problems). My grandmother made a friend while staying here, and has continued the relationship to this day (we see this friend weekly). My mother began a small Bible study at the center in 2007 and has continued it for several years. So we are acquainted with several residents and staff, and overall have been impressed that a high standard of care and cleanliness is maintained.
