the rooms are clean and very comfortable with clean linens and maintenance. the staff creates a very happy atmosphere, friendly caring daily and activities create fun mood for residents and myself a devoted family member for my mom and her new life, I never thought mom could be happy away from home but palm garden and in her case dialysis in house makes for a perfect world to survive her new found ailment wich was a huge lifechanger. movies, bingo, nails and salon, priests and musicians along with birthday celebrations make for a warm home for mom. located in west palm beach near so much to offer in museum, theatres, opera, quiet serene setting I coudnt have chose a better offering community amenities area. the quiet lake at end of driveway is beautiful with downtown buildings in view in distance. the business office and social workers were so greatly helpful for Medicaid applications and guidelines, admissions is so professional and her accommodating hospitality is unbelievably comforting to us! The directors run a very professional business and are always friendly with a smile no matter what time of day! my mother has new friends in her life from enrichment to activities directors to hospitality coordinators to nurses and to cna,s, when I took a tour at outset I was impressed now I am so grateful I did and chose palm garden! thanks to all who devote their energy to keep residents happy and comfortable, one employee has served 30 years of her worklife and that says a lot! others with long tenure are amazing also. I highly recommend PALM Garden of west palm beach florida, Domini ck Riccio (561) 667-0309

Terrible service, my mom came home with bruises and blisters, they never explained to me what happened to her. We witnessed their negligence, lack of water, no bathing her or changing her depends, poor nutrition and due to their bag hygiene she got a UTI

First off they are very unprofessional & disrespectful, I would never refer any one to this rehab facility they leave the patient when they shouldn’t be alone because they are high risk at falling, example: my mother was left unsupervised when the nurse left out of the room where she then fell and broke her hip.

Best Place ever! Clean, friendly and accommodating staff! They are on top of everything. I feel that it is very personal there. The rooms are average because they're small, but there are so many other factors that override that! I couldn't have asked for a more reliable and dependable place then where Mom is right now. ALL STAFF, no matter who, are great. Thank you so very much! Mom will be home soon because of YOU!

My mother was at Palm Garden of West Palm Beach. The nurses and the nurse's aides were very good. The place itself was clean. Overall, we had a pretty good experience there. They served 3 meals a day. They also had church services, birthday parties, and regular get-together type of thing. However, my mother wasn't really involved in much of them because she had a difficult time getting around. But they set up activities in her room like puzzles, games, TV shows, and movies. Food was fabulous. The staff was very helpful but a little understaffed especially in the evening. They're a little short-staffed, but it wasn't that terrible. My recommendation for them is better communication with the family as it was difficult for me to get in touch with people in charge. However, the therapist in the physical therapy area was top-notch. The therapy was great.

My husband was in Palm Garden. The rooms accommodation was the best out of the four places he had been to, but it was just adequate. The staff did as little as possible. The food was adequate.

Residents walk around half dressed. Residents climb in one anthers beds. Food is atrocious. Cannot get phone calls through to nurses stations. Poor communication between nurse manager and family members. Doctors rarely on campus and do not communicate with family.

My mom is still in Palm Garden of West Palm Beach. She is in a special wing because she has Alzheimer's. I don't like the wing where she is, it's too much like a prison. She was on the second floor at first but because she tried to leave, she is in a controlled environment now. It took her 6 months to settle in but she seems to be doing a little better now. She has a new roommate she really likes and is attached to. My siblings keep her room tidy. The staff depends on who is on duty. Some of them are very nice and attentive; some are a little less desirable. The dining area could be cleaner. They have just changed ownership, so things may have changed.

My best friend was just placed in this facility and it is terrible. The staff seems uninterested in assisting patients, the food is really awful - the patients never get fresh vegetables, everything fed to them is from a can and all patients are served the same meal. If you don't like the food you can get a sandwich which you'd probably have to wait 1 1/2 to 2 hours to get it if ever. My friend is going to be in inpatient rehab for a long time. I hope I can get her placed in a nicer facility.

Many of these individuals are helpless, vulnerable and completely dependent upon nursing home staff to meet most or all of their needs. After all, nursing homes are supposed to be in the business of providing skilled nursing care to elderly and disabled residents. They leave them for hours without anyone to check on them. Under staff and don't speak ENGLISH.
