This is the worst facility a person can place a loved one in need. My mother was transported to the facility straight from the hospital after having hip surgery. The staff is rude and not attentive to their patients needs This facility improperly discharged my mom without sufficient notification to family members. They also dropped her home late in the evening at around 9pm without her walker, wheelchair and left her at the front door like a piece of package, when no one was home to receive her. I would NOT recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The only way you can get to North Beach Health is if you get transferred unfortunately from a hospital for rehabilitation. It’s called a nursing care and rehab center and all they give me is assisted home care. They also have long term facilities there, and it is excellent. I would recommend this facility. They have rehab, occupational therapy, and physical therapy, and you have that in conjunction with nurses and assisted nurses in your room. There was a button next to your bed and you just push the button and when the light goes on -- sometimes you have to wait like 10 or 15 minutes -- somebody will come to your room. The food is good, they have their own laundry facilities, washers, dryers, and they changed your sheets once a week, but your own personal underwear although they do it but unfortunately sometimes it gets lost. They do laundry, and we pay for them to do it every day because they are looking at towels and sheets, and like I said other than improving their laundry service I can’t say anything.

My grandmother had hip surgery in palmetto Hospital and we choose to come to North Beach because of the excellent therapy staff and nursing staff that do such a great job in helping there patient recovery well.

North Beach Rehabilitation Center was clean and nice. We visited there because we looked for a place for my grandmother. The location was also convenient for me because it was close to my house and job. The staff were courteous. The rooms were big. This was my first choice if we decided on the move.
