My parents are in the process of moving onto the property. The Independent living facility they are moving into gives them the luxury of living independently in a condo but with the security of life time health car at a reasonable cost. Its giving my parents the peace of mind that they will be taken care of medically for the rest of their lives with the security they will never burden family with any medical debt if it rears its ugly head. The property is beautifully landscaped with many fountain filled lakes and beautiful birds of all shapes and sizes. The Independent living facility is the most modern and up to date facility out there. I will update this website once my parents move in and let you know how the facility is treating my parents, the new residence of St Andrews. This is an amazing new experience for them and we are hoping St Andrews comes through and makes it everything we think it will be as a wonderful new experience for the latter years of my parents lives.

The most unfriendly staff I have ever observed. The dining room staff is the worst. The poor residents have to wait so long to get their food and many times they don’t get what they choose. The kitchen staff argues with them. The facilities are fine. It’s just the most unfriendly and uncaring staff.

My mother lived at Willow Brook in Boca Raton in the nursing facility. She lived there for 2 years. She had dementia. As time went on it got worse and worse. The directors never answered phone calls, even when you left a message they never returned your calls. They had extended lunch periods. When you had a question they would walk right by you, they did not want to be bothered. My mother was losing the ability to walk with a walker. They pushed her to continue to walk even when she cou...

St. Andrews Estates was very nice, clean, and homey. It was little less institutional, bigger, and spread out more. The people were super nice. I passed a really nice gym. They had a huge bulletin board with all of the activities. It looked like there was something going on every night, like movies. On Saturdays, there was a group going to the opera.

I LOVE Willowbrooke Court of St Andrews. I have worked in Long Term Care since 1987 as an Occupational Therapist & therefore have been in & worked in over 50 ALF's & Nursing Homes in Florida. I researched several places & admitted my Dad there in April 2016. He received AWESOME care by ALL staff. The Charge Nurse, Carol was EXCELLENT! Carol would stop in daily to see me & give me a full report about my Dad. Carol always took the time to meet with me & to make sure my Dad was getting the best ...

St. Andrews Estate was a very nice place but very expensive. It was really upseting to hear that if you buy a condo there, when you pass away, your family doesn’t get the condo and doesn’t have the right to sell it. St. Andrews takes the condo after you pay thousands of dollars for it. That was really shocking to me. The facility was very nice, and everything was beautiful, but if you buy a condo and have to pay a monthly fee for everything, and then not be able to have your family inherit t is ...

My husband is in this nursing home. Today, September 13, I called nursing station at 9 am, but somebody picked up telephone only at 11. I ask about my husband and she told me that he is sleeping because he did not sleep all night. Why? She did not know.i asked her to move telephone to his bed that I could talk to him later. I called later, he pick up telephone but practically could not talk. It was strange because he is very cheerful person. On my question what is going on he said that he is in ...

My mom is currently in Willowbrook. She was living at the adjacent St Andrews independent living. We had an expectation of excellence for this entire campus, but have been very disappointed. There are some great people employed at Willowbrook that really care, however their position does not allow them to make some administrative decisions. The hesd administration is detached, many times are disorganized, and mostly nod, smile, may say yes, but nothing gets done or done well.

I decided on St. Andrew Estates; their grounds were lovely, and everything seems to be very well-kept. The dining facilities were beautiful, they have a lot of activities, I already know a couple of people there, and they speak very highly of it. It has proximity to the Catholic Church, and that’s important to me. It’s also close to the Town Center Mall, which is very nice. It provides transportation to doctor’s appointments and church. The main thing that I liked was that they have a beautiful...

Not good for older parents. Independent living may be younger and active, however, no options for a couple to age together if different levels of care required. I.E. One needing nursing, the other Assisted living. High management turnover.

Willowbrooke Court at St Andrews is a skilled nursing facility. My mother is really unhappy, and it is supposed to have a very good reputation. I may want to move her out because she wants a single room, and I can't afford a single room. She gets Medicaid, her social security, and her veteran's benefits. A single room would be a lot of money out of pocket, and I can't give that to her. She hates it there, so I might to move her into something else. I keep telling her that this facility has a goo...

I would definitely go back and visit St. Andrews again. Everybody was cordial. The residents were younger. A place where both my husband and I could enjoy. I tried the food in the community and it was good. I also checked at the rooms and they were decent.
