We went to Atria Summit Ridge. The tour was great. The staff who hosted the tour was very informative, very kind, very knowledgeable, and very personable with the residents, which helped my mom's decision. The place was clean and bright as far as the atmosphere. The apartment that we looked at was freshly painted. It's hard. She is going from a two-bedroom place to a studio. We were able to see the walking paths and activity rooms and things like that. We chose Atria because it is a sister community for my mom's senior living, an independent living place, so cost-effective. They waived the community fee. They had some better incentives because it is under the same umbrella. And because we had toured so many, I think my mom was just ready to make a decision and that seemed just a very easy one. It's like three blocks away from where she is. It's where she's been living. So, if she wants to go and visit her residents at her other place to say hi, she can.

Atria Summit Ridge is a small community. I think there were 120 units. They have a doctor on staff who would come in instead of a person having to go out. That's what we are looking for, more like in-house stuff where my mom didn't have to travel all around all the time going to different general doctors. Their activities were on a monthly board. They posted them, and that was it. They didn't have things going on at that time. The place was clean though.

A dear friend of mine moved into Atria Summit Ridge about a year ago. We taught together for years, and even though she is still very independent, the oversight and care provided by the staff is just what she needs at this time in her life. It provides safety, security, and basic help with meals/housekeeping/laundry/etc plus tons of social interaction. When people hear 'assisted living' or 'retirement home' they tend to have a negative connotation and I am here to say, think again!

I toured Atria Summit Ridge. Their apartments were very nice, everything was very clean, and they had great services to offer. I did not get to try the food, but the menu sounded very good. The dining room was very nice. I felt the staff would be very good and caring. The residents I saw seemed very happy.

Three years ago my sister could no longer take care of her house along with the activities of daily living. After investigating many Assisted Living facilities I chose Atria. The choice was a perfect fit for my sister. The Atria facility I chose is kept exceptionally, clean, well maintained, serves great meals and the staff is cheerful. Transportation to local stores, doctor appointments and various monthly activities provide residents with interests beyond their daily routine. Atria is a very well run Assisted Living organization. In my opinion they are head and shoulders above the competition. I highly recommend Atria as a premium Assisted Living facility that is both affordable and maintains the highest standards for their residents.

My first contact with Atria was with Cassie at a time when my mothers future was in question. Needless to say it was a very stressful time but Cassie immediately made me feel comfortable and walked me through the steps to begin the journey with finding the right place for mother after surgery for a hip fracture. Since moving my mother in, every staff member, from JP, Joey , Natasha, and Amanda to all the caregivers have helped my mother transition and feel comfortable at Atria. She enjoys all the activities (bingo, tai chi, arts and crafts) and the interaction with the other residents. Her studio is perfect for her needs. All in all this has been a great decision for her and she enjoys it more each day.

Atria Summit Ridge was very nice, light, and bright. For an older building, it had been well-maintained. My problem is that it was more expensive than I wanted to spend. The rooms were nice and clean. One thing that was good is that their assisted living and independent living are intermingled on the same floor, so you wouldn't have to move if you needed to go into assisted living rather than just continue to use independent living. It was about lunchtime when we were there, and we didn't see too many people doing too many activities, but we did see the TV room and the area where they did puzzles and that kind of thing. We had a meal there. I wasn't really impressed with the selection of food, because at mealtimes they only had two choices where other places had three. And when it was brought to us, mine was almost cold, so I wasn't that impressed.

Atria saved my Grandmothers life. Being at home was becoming difficult for her, the furniture around her was an obstacle for her mobility and her isolation from social life affected her mental health. Ever since, she moved into Atria her skin became fair and her physical strength improved tremendously and she has made many friends with residents and staff who she sees every single day and treat her with same amount respect as I do. The rooms in the facility are ideal because the elevator, hallways, and doorways are wide for a resident using a mobility walking/travel device to proceed through and the residential apartments are always clean thanks to the housekeeping staff. My personal interactions with the staff makes me feel like Atria Summit Ridge is my second address even though I don’t reside there but I visit almost everyday. The staff impresses me because they work with a passion of being a helpful friend for the residents and being involved with anything requested at a moments notice. Residents enjoy the weekly activities of Bingo, Live Music, Movie Nights, and Happy Hour. Every resident is always made 3 meals a day of healthy dishes in the kitchen with a choice of two warm entree dishes with appetizers like soup and salad and a choice of dessert. I recommend Atria to anyone who want their Grandparents to receive an easier better life.

We've gotten lots of compliments on how nice the room is, we tried to make it as much like dad's home as possible. Staff are all very friendly. Dad spends most of his time in his room, he's not much of a socializer at his advanced age, but perhaps once he really settles in he'll want to get out and enjoy some of the fun activities we see going on all the time.

Atria Summit Ridge was great. We loved it. It was very impressive. It was very clean and was upper class. The sales manager seemed very caring. The rooms were nice. They were small, but they were all fine. We had a meal and it was very good, too. Everyone was great to us.

My 96 yr old Mother moved across country and settled into Atria approx 6 months ago. I’d done quite a bit of research locally to find the best fit for her that I could. The facility isn’t overwhelmingly large (reduces confusion, lengthy walks to various sites where activities are held). Staff is friendly and helpful, frequently going out of their way to accommodate requests. Her 13 yr old cat was welcomed as are small dogs. She wanted a one bedroom, none available so she’s settled in a perfectly adequate studio while awaiting an opening. I would say her favorite aspect of Atria would be the food (very good chef, nice variety). The meals are served promptly and hot in the dining room. They do an excellent job with enrichment activities as well. Everyday there’s exercise classes and either an organized game, discussion, craft project. In addition, several times a week outside entertainment comes to the facility offering all sorts of interesting diversions (music groups, historical lectures, etc…..). In short, my Mom is about as content as she can be at this stage of her life.

Will be 3 years in May that our Mom came to live at Atria Summit Ridge, we have no regrets with our decision and could not be happier with the Assisted Living and Care she has received. Mom is able to order 3 meals a Day off a Menu, have room service, cleaning, laundry, assistance in bathing, activities as well as have her med's administered daily. Mom's communications can be spotty since her stroke, but she has come to love and appreciate the people and staff at Atria. The facility is top notch, clean, fresh and bright, thank you for the Peace of Mind ! _______________ :-) Michael

Atria Summit Ridge was really nice. I saw two people wandering around during my tour but none of them seemed very happy. It seemed like the price was expensive, and that they will jack the price up as much as they can the longer you stay there. I'm saying this because the lady talked to us about how they assess the patients every 90 days to see if they need additional care. Just from the sound of it, it makes us think that they would assess my mother and put her in the highest bracket. We just got a bad feeling about it. The dining room was very nice, and the place itself was very beautiful. It's a smaller community compared to the others I saw. It's a very nice place and well-maintained.

My mother moved into Atria Summit Ridge. It's excellent and they've been wonderful. It's very clean, there are a lot of activities, and we're absolutely 100% happy. The staff is wonderful, very nice, very caring, and very efficient. She's in assisted living. The food is very nice, there are a lot of choices, and it's very well done. The chef is very concerned that he meets the preferences of the residents.

My mom moved into assisted living at Atria Summit Ridge. Everything is great. They're very friendly and caring. The place is clean and they check up on the residents. Everyone is extremely helpful. My mom's room is clean, spacious, freshly painted, the carpet is good, and the vinyl is good. It's perfect, otherwise my mom wouldn't have moved in. The meals are good. They have a little library, a garden area, a living and gathering area, an eating room, and a salon. They really cater to what the residents want. They have meetings and if the residents like anything reasonable and they can do it, they instigate it, put it into place, and implement it. They are really great people there. The place is up-to-date, modern, and immaculate. The place is expensive, but comparable to others.

The people at Atria Summit Ridge are very helpful and very congenial. They are trying to improve the dining situation now because after someone takes your order, it takes half an hour to 45 minutes to get what you ordered. They can't make everybody happy, but they do the best they can. There are only 10 men here and the rest are women, so the activities are geared more for the women which is OK. They have bingo and music at lunch time. The staff is very nice and very pleasant.

We chose Atria Summit Ridge for my mom. It's one large but not too large building with 70 rooms. The dining room is very open, bright, and cheerful. It looks like a dining room out of a restaurant with napkins and name cards on the tables. The food is very good. The portions are very small, which I understand is great for older people. We didn't get refills on our drinks without having to ask for it. I think it's important that they bring water or whatever around and that didn't seem to be happening. They do a very good job keeping them busy.

I visited Atria Summer Ridge. I did not like their room setup. They did not have an exercise room. The staff was extremely friendly, polite, and concerned about the people who lived there. They had little outings for the people. The pharmacy delivered the medicine to Atria so they wouldn't have to go get it, and I liked that. It was very clean and very well kept up. The dining area was clean and nicely set up. The only thing I did not like about it was that they gave you a name plate and told you where you were supposed to sit.

Atria Summit Ridge was really nice, and the food was great. The manager who assisted us was spectacular. Her tone was nice, and the way she talked to everybody was really good. The studio room that I saw was fine. There was a library, a piano, and a lovely outdoor area with a view of the Sierras.

We went to Atria. I really like it. It was my absolute favorite place out of everything we looked at, but it was assisted living, and my mother felt she did not need that. They have a lot of programs designed to keep their residents stimulated, like they go on trips and they have a lot of classes. I thought that my mother would be happier there. I know for a fact that they replace everything when their residents moved. So they replace the carpet, they repaint the walls with fresh paint so it is like brand new as soon as they come in. What I remember the most is their outdoor garden atrium kind of area. It has a lot of nice tables out there that the residents can sit at and enjoy the weather. They have a small garden too.

Atria Summit Ridge was clean, and they did have activities. We didn't really get involved because my mother was only there a short time. They had special activities for the family. They could come in and participate, and that was good. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The outside looked good and clean.

Atria Summit Ridge was very nice, and it has a lot to offer. It has a restaurant instead of a dining room where you get to order what you want. Everything is in one building, so the residents don't have to go outside to go anywhere. The rooms were small studios with a kitchenette and a bathroom, and they were fine. They were good at catering to the people's needs and wants. They had a cocktail hour and a musician came in, and my mom really enjoyed that. It seemed upscale, and it's nice.

Atria was fine. They gave us the tour, but it was too commercial and too sterile for my mother-in-law. It was not homey or welcoming enough. The rooms were all fine, and you have to furnish it. The dining area was fine. We met two people at the front desk who were fine.

My husband is in Atria, and the care is excellent. The staff is extremely very good. They are very conscientious. The rooms need to be refurbished when you move in. They have studios and one-bedroom apartments. My husband is in love with the food. He says it is delicious each and every meal. They have activities like exercise. They have lecturers that come in. They have a meetings once very couple of weeks with the residents on how they think the food is or if there anything special they want. They take them out to the movies on the bus. They have road trips for them. I go to other places, but I am not happy with them. However, when I see the Atria, it is like a 4-star hotel. It is beautiful.

Atria Summit Ridge is a very nice place. They have a lot of skylights in the ceiling, and their hallways are kind of extra wide, so there is not a lot of congestion for people with walkers or wheelchairs. They have a beautiful outside which the residents can visit and see. They also have a lovely garden area. The only thing that I was disappointed is that they only have one bedroom.

I was looking for a place for my mom. We were able to visit Atria Summit Ridge. It was clean, light, and roomy. It's the nicest place I've been to. They got a studio type apartment. It was very roomy and very bright. A lot of sunlight comes in the room. It has access to a big patio in the center of the building. We looked at their activity board, and it was kind of similar to other facility. They have trips, games at the place, and transportation to the doctor if the residents need it. The dining room was clean although we didn't eat there. It seems that it is open 8 or 10 hours a day. Everything about the place is kind of pristine.

They are at Atria Summit Ridge. They have a one bedroom apartment and it is very nice. The staff seems to be absolutely wonderful. They come and check on them many times a day. They clean their apartment and take away their trash. Everybody seems very happy. They have lots of activities for the residents and they take them to the doctor's office if they need to go. I haven’t eaten there, but they seemed to be doing okay, and I know they are real fussy eaters. Overall, the facility is good, but expensive, and the more care you require, the more expensive it gets.

The Atria is really lovely, and my mom thought of going there, but it had studio apartments rather than a 2-bedroom/ 2-bath like a little home. The room was different. You can pay to have your medication taken care of. They do have medical people there, but it's just an add-on. The dining room is really beautiful. It has a baby grand piano and beautiful, big couches that look like a very nice resort.

We visited Atria Summit Ridge. We liked it. It was very nice and clean. It also had a lot of space, which was a big thing because they don't feel like they were trapped in a small area. The people were very friendly, nice, and seemed to help the seniors wherever they needed to. We looked at the dining room and the rooms, and we thought they were more than adequate. The rooms they had were bigger than the room he has right now. However, they cannot legally give my dad his shots, so we didn't choose it because we either need to get him off his shots, or have someone come in and give them to him.

Atria Summit was too big for my father. Also he really is not capable of being in an apartment by himself. Nevertheless, I would say that it is recommendable for a person who was more active and wanted to be more social, otherwise it just didn't fit for my dad's needs.
