Ivy Park at Alta Loma had lots of activities to keep the seniors active. My mom went on the tours with me and she felt really comfortable there. I like that they have lots of staff that interact with the seniors. They stated that they have weekly mini outings that she would really love. They will take them on many field trips or to the Dollar Tree to go shopping. They take them to museums and local areas. Everyone received us very well, up to the point that my mom will be staying at their facility in their memory care. The coordinator emails me when they have other events there that we can go to just to get my mom more familiar with everyone there. We've been invited to two different outings since then and she's stated that she will continuously contact me for any outings that they have there that we can go to. I really enjoyed that. She was wonderful. She's very thorough and very friendly. She made my mom feel really, really comfortable. The apartments were very nice. We loved the setup. There's two different setups, and we loved the way everything was arranged. I also liked that the rooms come unfurnished, but they can provide you with furniture to rent. It's an additional cost, but it's very reasonable. The maintenance was wonderful. Everything was very clean and always well organized, in my opinion. The different rooms that the individuals are able to go through and partake in activities were set up very well. The dining area looks very good. I liked the way it was set up, and it looked very comfortable. My mom wanted to actually sit down and have a meal there when we were going through at that particular point. She was very enthused with the dining and how it was set up, like the tables and napkins. The coordinator took her time with us. She never rushed us or anything. She took all the time. She felt we needed it, and I felt more comfortable like that. I wasn't rushed or anything.

Ivy Park at Alta Loma was nice. I was looking for the memory care and they had that. It was very very clean. The staff was very helpful to the residents. The only least thing about it was the cost, but other than that, it was a great place for someone needed for that. I didn't have a meal there, but they told me about it, that whatever type of diet the residents needed, they would do it, because my mom needed a soft liquid type of meal, and they would be able to do that. They had different activities for them. The room was nice, too. It looks like a little apartment for them. There was probably a two-door room, but they were very separated. They made them feel comfortable like they were in their own home.

We walked in through the front lobby and they had a sign with my name on it welcoming me to their place. They personalized it and made me feel important. The place was very clean. Some things were going on, but it wasn't chaotic. There were a bunch of residents there that we were able to interact with and get their opinions of the facility. It was a smaller facility, and they said it's considered a boutique-type assisted living. We were also very impressed with the memory care, in case my dad ever needs to get there. They showed us the salon where people can go in and get their haircut and shave. They brought us to the dining room. There was a laundry room, a TV room, and a game room. We were able to walk into one of the residences that were furnished, and compared it to one that was unfurnished. There was a pretty big-sized bed and a TV, and it was a lot bigger than it looked. They had a community dog and it was very friendly. It kind of gave the residents the joy of having a pet around. They would allow relatives to spend the night there for up to about 72 hours if needed, which was interesting. They were open 24 hours a day. You could come in anytime you want to.

The people here were very nice. The staff was very informative, gave me prices, and showed me the outdoor area, the rooms, and the activity area. She was very accommodating and very nice. It was a place I would consider. I saw a single room and a shared room with a bathroom in between.

I visited here. They showed me the rooms, little areas where you could meet with your family and have privacy, the dining room for private dinners with your family, and the beauty salon. They were having activity classes and exercises while I was there. I was very impressed with everything.

I didn't have any issues with them. They answered all my questions during our tour, and I've had follow-up calls from them. I like that place when they said that they try to put people together with other people because everybody needs someone to talk to. It was clean and looked nice. Downstairs where they eat was smaller and not as elegant looking as the others. There are some people in electronic wheelchairs, and there was some lady pushing another lady in a wheelchair.

Even though it is an older facility, it was nice and clean. The residents looked satisfied. I have a friend who used to live there, and I had visited him. They had activities like bingo and pinochle. Everybody liked it, and they were happy living there.

It was very nice. The staff was very helpful and continued to be helpful. The entire facility was very nice, homey, and seemed clean. The staff also showed support to the residents. To be realizing at a very traumatic time, they were caring about how the family could work together with the facility for the person's uncertainty.

It was a very nice place. It was just a little busy and my mom liked the peacefulness of the other place a little better. It was just the time we were visiting -- there was a lot of activity going on. It was a very good experience. I really like the staff there. They were very informative and they gave us a great tour. The room was very nice; it seemed clean. Everything seemed fine.

It is in a nice location. It's next door to a big park. The hospital is not very far, and they have a shopping center across the street. The room had a bathroom, but I would kind of like it if it was a little bit bigger than that one was. It's a nice place. I really couldn't speak too much on the staff. The ones that I talked to were very nice, but as far as how they treated the patients, I don't know.

I was able to visit here. The facility is very nice and very relaxed. It has a cozy feel to it. The staff were very friendly and very caring. The ones that I was able to observe they seem to be very in tune with the patients and the residents seemed to quite comfortable with them. I was just told that they had activities and that they had a garden area where they could go out and plant flowers or care for their own plants, but I didn’t actually get to see anyone doing any activities while I was there. I was able to see their dining room and it was nice. It was open and they didn’t have any assigned sitting so the residents could sit wherever they like. I like the fact that they had beverages both water and juice out all the time. They seemed to have snacks available for them at any time which was a good thing.
