We've moved into Spring Hills Lake Mary. We chose them because they were extra friendly and you didn't have to buy in. We walked through the door, and it was like we were at home. We visited four different styles of apartments, and we were able to pick out what we wanted. We have a two-bedroom, and one of the bedrooms is the bedroom, and the other one we're using as a study, but it's bright and sunny. It feels like something you would have in a normal house. It's just really comfortable. The food is tasty, and it's a good selection. You get a menu when you go in and you order what you want and they change it every week. They have a lot of programs. Their activities look very interesting.

Spoke with a nice lady on the phone and became excited to tour the facility for my father. Looked at their website and It was idyllic. I went to the building and despite its dilapidated appearance I went in. Very bizarre scenario where you have to get buzzed in. Receptionist incredibly frazzled and rude, total attitude and complaining about her job with us just feet away. I had been told that the building is renovated but I can’t begin to imagine where. It looks old, it smells molded, and there were just a ton of people half asleep in wheelchairs which is what I am trying Tia avoid for my dad. We are going to downsize at Oakmonte to maintain the high standard of living thag he is accustomed to.

Horribly managed. My husband died there in a short period of time because of neglect and loneliness/fear. Forget everything they tell you. personnel seldom smile. I paid an extra $2,000/month for nursing care which he never received. There is NOTHING good to say. The sales rep lied. The executive director lied. The head nurse lied. I cannot find even one thing good to say. My husband was there a little over a month when I told him “I’m bringing you home as soon as possible, hopefully tomorrow”. He died before morning. The person who called me at 3 o’clock in the morning, said “Oh, I’m just calling to let you know your husband passed away”!! Unbelievable! Not one ounce of compassion. Her tone was as if she were inviting me to a party. Horrible place that should never be recommended by any agency. As for the condition, the roof is rotting and the seating on the porch is so dirty you have to cover it before sitting on it. I stayed with my husband every day (until they said he got Covid from two aids) from noon to 11 pm and never saw any housekeeping. Oh, it was determined that he did not have Covid after he had been isolated for for 3 weeks. Horrible Corporate office said this was all inexcusable and they would have a manager call me....nothing. No one ever called. Most important though is the terrible treatment. Taking my husband there was the biggest mistake of my life. I have regretted it every day since and I will never forgive myself. Please don’t make the same mistake. Don’t let anyone talk you into it or make you feel guilty for caring for your loved one at home.

We had a tour with Spring Hills Lake Mary. We saw a model room. So it was very nicely set up, no one was staying there, but it looked beautiful. That wouldn't be the reality when you get a room. And of course, there is nothing furnished. You have to bring your own bed, dresser, and mirror. And the basic means you just have to take it over there. The person we met, I think she was the manager of more of a sales to sort of getting your business. They don't have a front courtyard, it's enclosed, meshed in. The dining room is like a restaurant type, 4 to a table. They had the usual arts, bingo, going out, crafts, and making jewelry.

Rooms are fine, some larger than others and price corresponds. I think the smaller rooms are grossly over priced. Some of the staff are remiss in their duties unless they are being observed. For some reason my emergency call button was overlooked and when I fell I had to get another resident to walk around to find help in getting me picked up, after midnight. Weeks later I needed help at night and went out on my wheelchair to find the nurse asleep in her office, this was maybe 1 a m , she was the charge nurse on the night shift. Did not find this facility to warrant the good ratings I am seeing on this site. I understand now there is an entire new staff but they are no better, maybe even worse. Would absolutely NOT recommend this facility on many items

My father has been living at Spring Hills In assisted living since September 2018. It is very nice always looks clean and smells great. It has a warm and caring atmosphere. Has a wonderful dining room and the food is very good. The activity director is so wonderful and never fails to include my father in the daily activities. She is excellent. They have a great staff from housekeeping, maintenance, beauty salon, and daily activities. The nursing staff is great and are always right there for us if we call and need them to go check on him. He has a nice room and we were told at the time he moved in of what his care routines would be. This seems to be where the downfall is and the only reason I gave three stars instead of five. We were told he would get help getting a shower twice a week, as he uses a walker and is not steady on his feet and needs help getting in and out of the shower, someone to be there to monitor him so he doesn’t fall. There have been weeks he hasn’t gotten a shower because no one ever came to give him one and I now I have to call every week to remind them to give him his shower. Also, they are to come and make his bed daily and this never gets done, so I have to call daily to make sure they have someone go up and make his bed because if they don’t he gets up and try’s to make it himself and he can not do that and hold his walker at the same time and he loses his balance and I’m afraid he’s going to fall. We are paying a lot of money monthly for him to be taken care of and extra for these things to be done for him which are not being done. I don’t feel that it is my job to call and make sure they are caring for him. I have called many times and talk with the patient care director and administrative director there and unfortunately nothing has changed. I am very frustrated as I don’t feel it is my job to have to call daily to make sure these things are being taken care of and it seems that no one is listening to me when I call to discuss these issues with them because nothing changes. I feel they need help in their management and supervision of staff to make sure residents are getting the care they are paying for and require.

I went to Spring Hills Lake Mary. It was not big, it had a homey feeling, and it's accommodating. The apartments I saw were quite spacious, the layout was really nice, and the staff was great. The drawback was that it was too far. The staff was great and on point. They have a library, exercise room, and a movie room, with a big TV. They gave me a gift pack with cookies.

Very satisfied to see my mom grow, surrounded by a nurturing staff! Place always looks and clean and smells great despite some dated furniture. Activities are great for her, food is good, I always feel in the know. Best decision!

I was very impressed with Spring Hills Lake Mary. We had lunch there twice and the food was excellent. I liked the flexibility and the choices for what to eat. The place was designed such that most of the rooms faced an interior garden (which was really nice). There were lots of little alcoves along the hallways where there were clusters of chairs and little tables. They had a really nice arts and crafts room. They also had a lot of activities going on. The staff seemed really outstanding. They were so helpful and knew everybody by name. The residents all seemed very social and happy. It just had a really good ambience to it. This place smelled more like a home, which was good. They have a gym and a hair salon. They also have an office for home care, so that if one of the residents needs more help, they can pay somebody to come and help them. They seemed to be well setup for any medical issues that might arise. I really liked this place a lot.

Spring Hills Lake Mary is beautiful. The staff is just very friendly and caring, especially the nurses. They treat the residents so kindly, like a family. They’ve got a beautiful dining room. There are people coming in to play the piano, and they do sing-along. They play bingo, and they color. It's just a wonderful place. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have a very nicely setup living room. Mom is in the memory care unit, and it's locked up. There is a beautiful garden where Mom can go out and sit because she enjoys being outside. My brother and I are very happy with the care that she's receiving. It doesn’t smell like an old person's home. It's like a fancy hotel. They also have apartments for residents who don’t need 24/7 nursing care.

most helpful place I went when searching for my parents. Roxie helped with every bump and each time we saw the facility it was clean, staff was friendly, and the seniors were genuinely happy. I will recommend this place to many friends.

Happy that mother and I chose this place 5 years ago. If my mother or I have a concern, it is taken care of right away. All the staff are friendly, my mother always say it feels like home. The nursing department is attentive and very caring, which my mother loves. I love coming there to spend time with her, we are so grateful to find Spring Hills.

They didn't seem to take care of the residents’ hygiene at Spring Hills Lake Mary. They need to improve on that and the size of the really small apartments. They did not have transportation to doctors' appointments.

My Mother has been living there since August and we are both so pleased with the caring staff and the warm and welcoming environment. The activity directory never fails to include my Mom and always has interesting things for the residents to see and do. The food is excellent and the nursing staff is wonderful and caring.

When my brother & I visited assisted care facilities in the Seminole Co, our immediate goal was to be greeted at the front entrance & to leave with a feeling of friendliness, security & compassion for our mom. Spring Hills exceeds our expectations. The staff works as a team to meet mom's care needs and to provide a positive social environment which includes a variety of activities. Her favorite includes morning exercise & musical programs. The talent of a wonderful chef creates attractive & popular menu items which mom may select for each meal. It is indeed a special event when families are invited to celebrate a holiday with the residents & staff. For the past three years SPRING HILLS is truly a home for our mom.

Spring Hills is a caring and accommodating community. My grandma has lived here for 4years. She speaks mainly Spanish, and staff here has gone out of their way to learn a little bit of the language to be able to communicate with her. The family atmosphere in the building is one of their greatest aspects. Thank you Spring Hills for all that you guys do to care for not only my abuela but for others as well.

Spring Hills Lake Mary was a lot more expensive. It was a little bit smaller than the one that I put my father in, but it was just as nice. The staff during the tour was very nice. I didn't try the food, but the dining area was beautiful. What impressed me was the cleanliness, and it was beautifully decorated.

Mom was at Spring Hills, and it was excellent. It was a lot more money, but I like the people so it was the right move for her. They had more activities. If there was a holiday going on, the whole place was totally decorated for the holiday. I would highly recommend them.

I didn’t pick this for my parents because I thought it was too small, but the facility is very nice. The staff were wonderful. My best friend's grandmother resides there and it came highly recommended. I haven’t tried eating there, but their dining area looked like a restaurant and it's very nice.

The people at Spring Hills were very nice. The rooms seemed a little cramped, but they were cozy. They don't have as many residents as the other place we saw; they don't have as large a common area. The dining area was big enough. The staff was helpful.

Spring Hills at Lake Mary does a fantastic job at every service that they provide but we are most impressed with the staff. Every employee from housekeeping & maintenance, to recreation, to dining room, nursing & medical to the administration, treat my father as if he were a member of their own family. He truly loves every staff member and is deeply moved by their kindness, respect, and dignity in their daily interaction with him. He is very happy living there and loves the food and recreational activities and entertainment. And, their price was very competitive with similar facilities who offered less in the choice of menu items and actual living space. Highly recommended.

The staff really take the time to get to know my dad. And they really seem to love working there. They have several activities daily and the variety of activities is great too. And I like that they also have a nice Memory Care side to the facility (which I also visited) that Dad can transition to eventually. They have some nice outdoor areas and a baby grand piano which Dad enjoys playing. ANd I like that they have two shifts for dining, lunch and dinner. And that breakfast is open eating from 7:30-9:30 and not so structured.

Spring Hills was very nice. But it was very much an assisted living. The girl that I talked to was very nice. I only did one tour of the facility. It was a smaller community and it was for people who really need a lot of help. They also have memory care unit there. I didn't get to meet any of the staff there. But it was very nice.

although i do not have personal history being in an assisted living facitiliy, i found this one to be quite pleasurable. it reminded me of being on a vacation and staying somewhere a little nicer than home. the main entryway/ lobby was beautifully decorated and gave a great sense of comfortability and class. i am happy to have visited a friend who is staying here.i felt quite at ease. the staff was extremely friendly and was someone was always nearby. i liked that there was always care and help nearby. The parking spaces were scarce, but that could have just been because it was a weekend and could have had many visitors.

The staff at Spring Hills is excellent. I met with Lisa back in November because my dad will be moving from Oklahoma to Florida soon and I wanted to know what kinds of facilities were available in my area and take tours. She was polite, attentive, full of detail, and willing to answer any question I had. I was given a full tour of the facility and told of the renovations that were upcoming. She calls, emails, and has even visited my home since that day to check on the status of my dad and see if I have any questions. She knows his name, his condition, and always asks if there is anything I need her to assist me with. I have not spent a dime at the facility but if I have to place my dad in assisted living, he will definitely be going there. I highly recommend taking a tour and getting to know the staff there. The facility features assisted living and has a small memory care unit. The memory care unit is pretty small and there are better ones in my area. If I need that service I will use another facility. I wish I could get Lisa to go with me to whatever facility I may choose. You just don't get personal service like that anymore.

My Mom has been in Spring Cottage, the memory care unit for 5 years. I cannot say enough about how happy I am, and more importantly, how happy she has been since the first week she was there. When she could speak more, she would tell me every visit how nice the people were and how she would like to live there. She smiles and laughs. She enjoys the activities. They always treat the residents with respect, dignity and genuine care. Even housekeeping knows her name and talks with her. The facility is always clean as are the residents. They have numerous celebrations for family and residents. I feel profoundly blessed to have Mom in Spring Hills.
