My dad moved into Willow Creek of Sheridan. I like the homey atmosphere versus a nursing home. The facility smells nice. The ladies are very nice. They seem very caring. My dad has his own room, and it's a little more private, so it gives him a sense of his own space. The only thing my dad really complained about was that the food could be a little bit better. They are on top of helping me, like assisting me in how to get hospice and Medicare, which is really important to me. It's very expensive.

I was able to visit Willow Creek of Sheridan. It was very clean, they had several rooms available with different sizes and arrangements for the necessary items that a patient might need. The kitchen area was clean as well, and it looked like it was all set up for meals. There wasn't very much action going on in the center part, but that might be because there were so many people going to different places during the day. I saw a large screen TV in the living room area, just off of the kitchen, and it was hooked up to Roku. I met one of the staff members. It was an older building but it's still good, there's nothing wrong with anything, but it's just that the amenities seemed to be an older style.

My father stayed at Willow Creek of Sheridan. He loved the community. The staff was nice. They took good care of my dad. It was like a home-style living. His room was good. You could decorate it to look like a home and it was nice sized. The food and the dining area were good. They have a nice covered porch that the residents can go sit on. They have a patio and a porch. Maintenance and upkeep were good. The staff was amazing. They just could not care for him any longer. He needed more than what they were able to provide.
