My aunt stayed at Agape Acres for a while. That was a very nice facility. I was in there probably three days a week. It's very homey. They make the food there, it's homemade food. My aunt at that time had said the food was good. They have activities, movie nights, and holidays. They help decorate the facility and they have a tree for every season. They have their own rooms, too. That place I would recommend. The staff was very good. It was very nice. When you walk in, you could go through the dining room, which was very nice and decorated. They always had it decorated for every holiday. On one side was where the kitchen in the middle. And then there was the dining room on one end and the other end of the building was like a visiting area. It had a TV, couches, and chairs. It was a very, very homey feeling. I would say that the value was pretty good there. I think we paid $3000 a month there. They had bingo and they had activities for them to do. It's set back in the country setting so they can watch the deer outside. I thought they were very friendly, very good to me and my aunt.

When we visited Agape Acres, the staff was at a meeting or something, and they weren't prepared to meet us. One of the staff met us instead, so that was a little concerning, but she was nice. The location seemed quite remote, and it seemed to be harder to get to than the others. We didn't like that, but maybe some people might. It was in a rural setting, and the outside was nice. The upkeep seemed to be good. The staff was very helpful, but I think she couldn't tell us about pricing or anything like that. She showed us the rooms and showed us around. We were not really impressed. They have a salon. It seemed like most people were watching TV or sleeping. I did not see much going on. The area outside was well-kept and it was pretty. We saw the kitchen, it was clean and neat. It's a little small. They have fewer people.
