What I like best about LakeHouse Sheboygan is the rooms. The least thing I liked (and my mother-in-law's most complaint) is about the food, but it's a good place. It's clean. The carpet's been cleaned. It has stains on it though and they keep saying that they're going to repair the carpeting, but that's one thing that makes it look like it's not clean. They have lots of activities. They are good and really nice ones and the residents are very involved. They have music, exercise, bingo, game shows like a family feud, and contests. Just fun stuff, like when you walk in, some of the residents will ask you a question. Do you have this? They have to find things in the place and I think the residents are quite involved.

LakeHouse Sheboygan is so well-run. The staff members I met took me through. I like the fact that they have entertainment brought in and if you need someone for the doctor's appointments or something that's all included. The food was included there, too, but they also had a kitchen in the room where I prepared my meals. However, it's a flat fee of $4000 a month. They had a very nice menu posted for the week, and you could order if you wanted to, and if you didn't, you didn't have to. It was perfect. It was nice and clean. They would do your wash or you can do your own. There was a separate area there where there was a washing machine. The halls were nice and wide; it wasn't dungeon-looking. When I stepped inside, I felt welcomed, and I felt part of it. I had my daughter with me from Colorado and she felt the same way.

LakeHouse Sheboygan was very good. The staff was very polite. It looked like a clean place, and they had a lot of activities. They were playing a game when I was there. They have a beauty salon and transportation to doctor's appointments.

It is a very beautiful place. Both the full apartments and the studio apartments are very spacious. The staff is very friendly and very caring. The food is great. Everything is good. My mother is in assisted living. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to help. They have a lot of activities if you want to go to them. They have religious services for the people and outings. She's in a studio and they have a microwave and a little apartment-sized refrigerator. The full apartment that they showed us had a microwave, a stove, and a big refrigerator.

It is a very nice place. The lady that took me on the tour was very good. She showed me three different apartments within the building. The facilities are very nice, and I was very pleased with the overall setting of it. Everyone is very friendly. It's a friendly atmosphere with lots of space. It's a very nice facility, and I was very pleased. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were finishing their lunch when I got there, so I missed out on that. The dining area was very nice and spacious. They also have rooms that are like bigger for when you want to have a birthday party for your loved one; they have space for that. The grounds are very nice. One of the apartments I looked at also had a balcony, which would give you great views. You'd be able to sit right up to your own apartment. You can have fresh air definitely in the outdoors, and I enjoyed that also. I really liked it very much. The only drawback is we need a walk-in shower and not all of their apartments offer that (some have tubs). They were gonna try to make that happen for us.

I toured here, and it was informative. The one who toured me was very thorough and sat down with me. They have nice apartments, and quite an assortment of different styles. They're just trying to come back from the Covid lockdown, so they were easing back into things. They did have some amenities available, but they were still trying to expand trips like how it used to be. I just basically saw what it was, but I'm not really familiar with Sheboygan. It was a nice neighborhood, and there was just one person who toured me. He was very thorough.

We're moving my mom here. We've chosen them because they're very nice, easy to work with, and very, very friendly. They found a perfect apartment for her because she has macular degeneration. They found a nice apartment right across from the dining room, so that will work out good. Looks like they have lots of activities too. We didn't personally experience the food, but we talked to a couple of residents who said the food was good. Everything just went so smoothly. I didn't know what I was doing and they were very helpful, patient, and answered all our questions. The admission people were accessible, like they are all right there, and you can find them easily. The facility was extremely clean as well. They were in the middle of cleaning the room when we got there, and they were doing a really good, and a very thorough job with that.

We picked here for my mom because she had a friend that was living there, so they both now are living in the same facility again. So far everything has been good, so I didn't have any issues. It's actually really nice; it's an extra-large studio, with a small kitchenette, and it's safe, they make everything really safe, and there's enough faucets. They usually have activities everyday, but right now with Covid, they had to discontinue those temporarily. It's pretty easy, they have several entrances depending on where your apartment is. We really liked the layout, and it worked for her.

My grandma started off as an independent person here. She was still cleaning and cooking and even driving on her own. Once her health got worse we just added care for her and the caregivers would come up to her apartment and everything. They are all so sweet to her. She has lots of fun doing the games and enjoys the big meals! Thanks for everyones hard work here.
