My friend is at the assisted living and it's working out fine. There are activities and plenty of stuff for her to do, so I'm happy with it. I'm also happy with her care, she can get her hair done once a week. The place is pretty and the aides seem very nice and helpful. I don't have anything negative to say about them.

We toured The Woods of Caledonia. The gal, Kate, who did the tour, and everything was exceptionally good and she took us all over there. My sister and I both liked the place. The grounds and everything were beautiful and we liked the way things were set up. Everybody greeted us. We just got to talk to Kate but all the other staff was very friendly.

I would have loved to have my husband here at The Woods of Caledonia. The price is cheaper, but they didn't have availability for my husband. The staff members were very pleasant and helpful. It would be one that I would consider possibly in the future for the long term. The facility was very nice and well-kept. The staff was very pleasant with people as they walked around in their walkers. They were very in tune, knew their names, and what they needed. The grounds were good and secure. It was a beautiful place on the lake.

We went to see The Woods of Caledonia assisted living 3 weeks ago and every level of care in the building was set up the same so each floor is set up the same. I think we toured 2 floors and a couple of the possible studios that were available. It was nice although I feel like the rooms were a little small. The place was pretty clean too. They had a nice little amphitheater for the seniors and stuff like that. The guy who did the tour said that the chef could probably accommodate my mom's diet because she doesn't eat grains, corn, flour, and rice. The dining area looked nice but we did not get a chance to try the food. The person who assisted us was very nice and polite. He managed to sit through my mom just blabbing about nothing more so than I did. He asked her about her favorite color, and for some reason, she just went into a whole spiel, like 10 minutes about colors and then how she lost weight.

I visited The Woods of Caledonia. I don't know what the thing is about having the doors locked and the elevator locked. Maybe it's because of the people that they serve there. We were taken to the memory care floor, that would be the third floor. We did not see assisted living. I just didnt like it because we were not given a total tour, we were just taken to the third floor and that was that. I only talked to the receptionist and the gentleman who took care of us. They were OK. The person who stayed in the room they showed us was an artist, and she decided to create her own room. So, she had it painted with a bright red on part of the wall, and a very, very bright yellow in the bathroom. If you would have had a hangover and went into the bathroom, you wouldn't want to stay in there too long or turn the light on. It's very clean. The other thing is, if you had a room and you're toward the backyard, all you saw were trees. I don't know, maybe in the summertime it looks better, but I dont know in the spring.

I like it for my mother. The tour was very good. The staff was very informative and knew what she was talking about. She took time to give me a proper tour. I looked at a single room. They had a lot of different activities. However, my sister thought it was too for them to travel.

The room I saw was small. The dining area looked good on first impression. I was told it used to be a college dorm, but we didn't want tight quarters. My dad wanted a little more space. The staff who gave me the tour was wonderful though.

It looked nice, they had trees all over the place, and it has more residents. We saw the lady that runs it, it's clean, and I think it's two or three floors. I guess they have a few more activities, they have bingo, and they play games. It's in a nice location, and it's right by the lake.
