My Mom was a resident for 2 years before her passing. Home Harbor made her transition to assisted living an easy transition. Even prior to her moving in staff were amazing. Alexandria was very helpful in the admissions process and found residents to eat meals with my Mom. She is a true asset to this facility. Kathleen was very easy to communicate with any helped with any questions in regard to services. Collen is very compassionate and shows true concern for the resident's overall health. Mom enjoyed the many activities they offered. She played bingo frequently, bridge one day a week, and poker on Thursday evenings. She would attend the Birthday parties for the residents. The meal plans are very flexible. Initially, she was scheduled for 3 meals/day and found that was to many meals for my Mom. We had them clean her apartment and do her laundry. This freed up my time, so we were able to spend more time visiting. The facility was a safe place for my Mom and the staff knew her by name. Very personal care and attention. We will miss seeing them. If you are considering Home Harbor for yourself or your loved one, I would not hesitate to check them out. You will not be disappointed.

We visited Home Harbor Racine assisted living two years ago. The staff that we met with were all very personable. They were all very friendly, welcoming, and informative. The place was clean, and they had nice amenities. I didn't see anything that looked like a red flag when we walked in. We saw the room my dad would be staying in. We also saw some of the communal areas and the barbershop. There may have been some patios to go out on, but I don't recall seeing that. There were a lot of activities that they had, and overall, it just seemed like a great facility.

I chose Home Harbor Racine because I needed more care than I could do by myself. The facility was very clean and neat. The staff was kind of in a hurry. I didn't get to talk to her very much. The dining area was kind of more like one big office area.

I toured Home Harbor Racine. I liked the facility, the cleanliness, and the location. They showed us the lunchroom. They showed us the sitting area. They did a very good job of explaining everything. The living space is spacious. We saw the activity calendar. We took a look at that and there's a lot of activities for the seniors. Ariana was very helpful.

Went on a tour there for an Open House and everyone was very nice and informative. The building was beautiful and the actual apartments look brand new. I like how they have different floor plans depending on how much space you want or need. The dining room looked like a nice restaurant. They had a town square area I think it was called, with popcorn and a hair salon etc. I liked how they had actual residents as part of the tour and the lady in the chapel was so nice. There were a couple other residents that were in the game room that were calling their selves the welcoming committee and it was very nice to see people out and about and enjoying their selves. The patios are GIGANTIC. I have never seen patios this big in any other condo or apartment complex ever. One selling point is the fact that they have a visiting doctor and visiting foot care so residents don't have to go out for certain medical care. They also have a whole physical therapy business downstairs called Motion PT and they were also very informative and genuine. The nurses, actual registered nurses!, at the end were doing vital signs and answered any questions we had after our tour. I will be submitting my application!

Home Harbor Racine was very well-kept, very nice, and new-looking. There was a lot of staff taking care of things. The apartment was nice, very clean, and spacious. The staff during the tour was phenomenal. She was very helpful and explained everything in great detail. My mom had a lot of questions.

I toured Home Harbor Racine. Everything was great there. I like the common areas that residents could be in. It was a beautiful facility. The room was nice. There wasn't anything I didn't like about it. It was a really good experience. It's just a little too much for my mother-in-law to move her and she needs more care than that. I only dealt with one staff member, and she was phenomenal. She explained the programs that they had there and was good at leading the tour as far as showing me the place. It was a clean facility, and it was very nicely decorated. It was a good home away from home.

The tour I had at Home Harbor Racine was exceptionally well. They took us through everything and showed us some different rooms that would be available. They introduced us to some of the residents. It's like a little town inside with the dining facilities and the hair salon. They have a small apartment. It was a one-bedroom with a small kitchen (no stove in it), a microwave, a little dining room, and a little living room. It was all kind of one big piece, but the bedroom was a separate room by itself. It was clean and nice with new carpeting through it. The walls were all painted. It looked brand new. The layout was exceptionally well. The whole dining facility was clean and it was full of people. Everybody was eating. It had round tables so they could visit each other. I liked the place.

The tour I had at Home Harbor Racine was very nice. The girl that took me around was very attentive and answered my questions. There was underground parking, which was a plus for me, and laundry facilities. You have to go to the room where the laundry facilities were to do your laundry there. Then they have all kinds of other amenities, such as laundry services, nurse staff for medication, three meals a day that they serve (these were all added extras), and a salon inside their facility. So, people that don't have vehicles can have access to things that they need. The one-bedroom was kind of small. If I went there, I would have to have a two-bedroom.

Home Harbor Racine was very nice. I liked it a lot. The apartment was roomy. It was a nice apartment. The staff members were very polite and professional. They had activities. You can go shopping. They had a piano out in the common area. You could play the piano if you knew how.

My mother-in-law is moving into Home Harbor Racine. They gave us a tour. It looked like it was a nice atmosphere. The tour guide was nice, I liked the facilities that were there and the extra things that were offered. She liked that it had a patio. She liked that they would take her shopping. She liked that they had a way to take her to doctor appointments, so she doesn't have to ask all the family members. We did not sample the food. The staff who toured us was fairly new, so she got lost at one place we were trying to go to, but just very friendly. "This is what we have." She gave us extra information, she explained things pretty well to us.

Home Harbor Racine is the ideal choice for me and my husband. It's assisted living, but we're going in as independent seniors. Down the road when we need assistance, they could offer it. They just change your package to have an aide come to your room and help you with your mild care. They're very polite and they've got everything you need. There's a barber, a beauty salon, and a library. It is well-maintained for everything you need and they also do outings where they provide transportation to take you to different places. We will get one meal a day in the dining room (that's at lunchtime). It's a big meal because they want to make sure you eat one nutritious meal a day, and then I can make breakfast and supper in our apartment. So, I'm pleased with that. They offer a range of motion/physical activity in the basement and then they have stuff scheduled throughout the day that you're welcome to participate in so you don't have to stay in your apartment and be a recluse. It's nice and it just sounds like an ideal place. Almost like a dream come true.

The tour I had with Home Harbor Racine was fine. They have an apartment-type room that's got a kitchen, a living area, a bedroom, and a bath, but it was just a little too small for my mother. They had a variety of activities and they were very good with that though, and then they had courtyards and exercise rooms.

I was impressed with the Home Harbor Racine itself. The couple of people that we happened to meet in the hallways seemed very cordial and seemed to be happy where they were. We were also impressed with the young woman, Alexandria, who had taken us around and showed us things. We saw an empty room. It was very comfortable looking and inviting too.

I absolutely love Home Harbor! I am so happy that my mom is a resident there. It is very clean and smells great. The other residents are super, they're always together either putting the puzzles together, playing cards or just simply sitting enjoying each others company. There are so many things that are offered to you to do as well. They have dances, bus trips, Birthday cake and ice cream. Mom likes getting her hair cut right there without even leaving the building. It's amazing how many things they have to offer. The laundry and personal housekeeping is available. I can't say enough positive things about Home Harbor. The Staff is incredible as well. I completely trust the staff with mom. I can't thank Alexandria enough for all of her hard work, answering all of our questions and help. Alexandria made it possible for mom to become a resident at Home Harbor. Thanks to all!

My aunt moved into Home Harbor Racine this Monday. It will take her a little while to settle in, but she's enjoying the food. She just got her hair done and really liked it. Overall I think she's gonna be fine once she gets used to it. It's very clean. The people are great, very nice, and the nurse was very attentive and went over a lot of things. Her room has got everything she needs. We took the doors off to the bedroom and the bathroom to make it easier, but she can get around fine in it. Her room is very nice. We did pay them to redo the carpet so it's flat. She's enjoying the food. We are talking to the nurse, and the caregiver is really attentive to her.

Home Harbor Racine has a grant by a Wisconsin program, so it helps subsidize with the payment. Most of the other places are beautiful, but they're not affordable. I loved the place. The apartments were a bit smaller than what I wanted, but they had a large patio. I think that outside is very important to my mom, so I love that part about it. The staff has been awesome. I like that the rooms are individual, and she's gonna be on the first floor. I liked the layout, it was very clean, and no smells, so I liked that.

We had an in-person tour of Home Harbor Racine. However, they only had one-bedrooms, and they didn't have two-bedroom apartments. The place seemed nice. The staff was nice. She showed us the room. Because of the COVID, we couldn't really look at a lot of stuff, and the tour had to be pretty quick. It's supposed to be assisted living, but because of the COVID they have a nurse on part-time and not full-time. My mother would need more than that. It was OK. I liked the layout. I thought it was nice and pretty.

We like Home Harbor Racine. The staff was very friendly., the place was very clean and when I looked at the residents that were there, all of them seemed to be happy. They were socializing well with other residents, and that's why I like it. They were not eating at the time, but the dining area was clean and spacious. We looked at an efficiency apartment and a 1-bedroom apartment. We also looked at the courtyard and the library, and we visited a couple of the activity rooms where some of the residents could go to do different activities or socialize with each other. I thought the staff was very attentive and caring.

I was really impressed with Home Harbor Racine. It was very well-maintained, clean and gorgeous. The apartments were really nice. I liked it the best of all the places. I think all of the apartments are on the first floor and they have sliding glass doors that go out on patios. The staff who gave me the tour was great, took her time, and answered all my questions. She was wonderful. I would put my dad at this place if he needs it.

Harbor Racine was nice. I liked it. It was clean and nice. It seemed like it would have been a good fit for my mom, but she didn't want to do that. The lady that I met was very nice. There were lots of activities going and there were lots of programs. It was nice. They showed me two apartments. They were both very clean, and the rent was affordable. I didn't see the food, but I saw the cafeteria, which was very nice. I met a couple of cooks there too. They were very pleasant people.

Home Harbor Racine was one of the better facilities we visited, but the rooms were so small. They had great amenities. I liked everything about it except for the size of the rooms. I would have to get a 2-bedroom in order to get all my furniture in. Sue, the director, tries to help you with everything. It's another facility where when you move in, you don't have to leave. However, they only allow one cat, and I couldn't decide which one of my two cats to get rid of. They have a white elephant sale where you bring stuff out and other people take as much as they want. They have a craft room, a beautician, a healthcare person that comes in, exercise programs, and they have field trips every week to Wal-Mart or the Elmwood Plaza. I loved Sue because she was so informative and she wanted to help me out as much as possible. She gave me the name of the VA representative for funding. She gave me a packet of stuff and she even broke down how much I would pay with or without the funding.

Home Harbor Racine's people and staff were very friendly, informative, and very easy to get along with. The rent is very low, and the apartments are very nice. The facility is clean and very nice. They service breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have a service that they can drive me to my appointments. They have all kinds of activities like exercise. The day I visited they were having an ice cream social.

They had a unique way of doing things at Home Harbor. The way you pay for things was different than in the other places. This was less, but it could be more depending on what you have. It would have only 2 meals a day. It had a library and a get-together area. It was a smaller place, so they had less stuff, but they worked with income too, which was kind of nice. It was based on income.

I have lived here for a little over 2 years, I call it a 5 Star hotel. I had to sell my home and hoped I had made the right move. Yes it was, Great food and people not only aids but others residents living here. Have met a lot of new friends. Love the reference that we live in a apartment not a room. Plus in case we need help someone is always here. Feel very safe and could not be happier. Plus great new things always going on for the residents to do if they wish. My friends say I was and am a very picky person - and they where glad that I love it here.

Home Harbor Racine was the most reasonable for what we got. It's very nice. It's a big complex, and it's got 110 apartments. We have three rooms -- a kitchen and living room combination and two bedrooms. They got all kinds of games going on, and they've got the activities listed everyday on the calendar for the month. The staff are very nice, very friendly, and very efficient. I like the food -- I even complimented the cook a couple of times. We're here since the end of May, and my husband and I both enjoy it. We made some friends already, and we're getting along fine.

We had my mother at Home Harbour in Racine for a very short time. It's a lovely facility, but it was just a little bigger than we thought my mother was comfortable with. I like that the facility is recently renovated, so it's very nice inside, a very pretty facility. The apartments were spacious, and there was a lot of room. For the very short time Mom was there, she thought the food was good.
