The lady at Cornerstone of Oak Creek didn't know we were coming, but she still took time out of her day to show us around. It was a nice building in a good location, and it was pretty clean. I just felt like it was more of an independent living. They had an outside patio, but they only had one chair and a picnic table taking up pretty much the whole patio. The dining area was a big open space with a high ceiling, and it was attractive. It had a big stone fireplace. We were there on a Saturday morning, but we didn't see one resident.

There were a lot of things that we didn't like about The Cornerstone of Oak Creek. The staff member seemed cold and not friendly, and kind of rushed us through things. It was old and big. The residents have their own washer and dryer in the apartments, but they were stacked, and my wife who is using a walker most of the time would have a hard time reaching stuff in the dryer. It felt more like an institution, but they seemed to have adequate parking.

The Cornerstone of Oak Creek was nice, but I was not super impressed. Their units were not as big as I would like it to be. They were probably meant for one person. Since I have both parents, I was looking for something with more space. They did have games and exercise activities. They also have a doctor and a nurse 24-hours a day. They serve breakfast and supper. I wasn't there very long, but the people were not as caring to show people something and make them want to move in there. It was just, "OK, here it is, what do you think?" That's the feeling I got.

The Cornerstone was owned by a woman who worked in a nursing home, and she wanted to do her own thing and create a totally different atmosphere. It looks like a hotel, and the drive is circular when you come up. I did see the people engage in exercises, and I got a look at their activities; they have trips to the stores in the area and other things. It’s very clean and modern, and the rooms looked nice. That one was pretty good.

The Cornerstone of Oak Creek was the only one that we actually went to. Everyone seemed friendly. They take residents on excursions or outside as well as hold daily activities inside. They had a nice porch out in the back to sit, and a little garden. They had a big dining area, and the rooms were of average size. They had a different variety of rooms, including some two-bedrooms and some singles. We visited a gentleman who’s been there for about six years, and he was pretty happy with the place so that was a good endorsement.

Cornerstone of Oak Creek is truly a one of a kind Assisted Living Facility! There holistic approach to life coaching skills is amazing!Residents here thrive on the care and atmosphere that they are provided each and every day. The Cornerstone and its staff are very tentative to all matters and always involve all members of your loved ones care team with all decision making efforts. I personally was astonished by the clean, friendly atmosphere the cornerstone provides. I personally would give it a A++++. Cornerstones goes above and beyond and I am glade to have toured such an outstanding facility! Hats off to Cornerstone for always going the extra mile!

There are always fun activities everyday throughout the year. Our family has three family members here and there's something for each of them to enjoy here. Take a look for yourself.

My mother lived at the Cornerstone for about a year. The staff was always friendly and helpful. We did not have to worry about her safety. If she did not come for dinner they would bring her down. There was always some activity going on for the residents.

My aunt has lived here for a few years now. Everytime I visit, there are always things going on in the main area. It is very home-like and the employees are friendly. My aunt seems to be doing better than ever since she has lived there. I am very glad my sister found this place.

Ask. Question. View. Wish I would have! Food isn't quality. Breakfast is pre packaged foods. No help. Walk past the desk and see nobody. Look how many times monthly an activity is cancelled. The very least a place should have are CNA's. Not enough here!

My parents-in-law lived at The Cornestone. The place had very nice little apartments. There was also a social area where the residents met and mingled. But there were no aids and nurses present all the time. Only a receptionist was there who gave the medicines, but did not administer it. My mother-in-law was diabetic and she was on insulin. She gave the insulin to herself because no one was around to help her. She was also incontinent and I went to their place every other day to clean up. They helped with the shower once a week. The housekeeping and laundry was done sporadically. The facility was nice if the resident was kind of independent.

The Cornerstone assisted living facility in Oak Creek, Wisconsin looked like a nice place to live. We were searching for a new home for our uncle. The exterior was really beautiful and it resembled a high end condo building. We could see that they really took the time to design the facility with the seniors' needs in mind. This facility had ample communal rooms including a library and the ability to participate in a number of stimulating activities. The residents may also safely navigate the lovely grounds for exercise. The exercise center includes daily yoga and aerobics exercise classes. The equipment is available throughout the day and they also offer instruction on DVD. Residents can also safely navigate the lovely garden pathways and courtyards. Private apartments were thoughtfully designed with beautiful living spaces that featured larger rooms, full kitchens with eat-in areas and all of the perks you'd find in a well-thought out apartment complex, but a few more, such as safety and security features. The special care program is designed to accommodate any level of ambulation and care, which changes according to the resident's needs. The dining room offers a breakfast buffet and evening dinner - with lunch offered as individually required. Most of the residents here are able to either prepare their own lunch or easily visit a nearby restaurant. The menus offered a variety of foods and there were snacks available as requested. The calendar of events was one of the most comprehensive we've seen thus far. The variety of activities included anything one could possibly think of and a few more. From festivals to parades, shopping, culture, eateries, art, music, library and films - it was all there. The residents are also treated to many socials planned right there in the building. The staff was very kind, caring and accessible throughout our visit. They check on all of the residents regularly to ensure their safety and comfort. It was clear to us that the residents here really enjoy living there and that it would be a great place for any senior to retire and be treated with dignity and respect as they deserve.
