My mother has been a resident for over a year. My siblings and myself find the care given our mother to be giving, kind, attentive and thoughtful. We can not imagine a better environment for our mom as her disease progresses. The staff has been outstanding. Our family highly recommends The Auberge at Oak Village.

It has a homey atmosphere. They really enjoy the seniors that are there. They are very welcoming and they treat their residents like royalty. They treat my dad like he matters and not just another body. When you walk in, there's a room where everyone gathers. The residents aren't always in their rooms, instead they congregate, they talk to each other, and they socialize. They have Bingo, sing-alongs, musicians come in very frequently, there's ping pong, cards, exercises every morning, and mental exercises. The staff is very caring and they knew us by name right from the first day. If we need something, they are always there. The food is delicious and it seems like you're getting a plate from your own kitchen.

It was more for people with greater loss of memory and not just people who are confused or have trouble thinking. It was a nice, clean, and small place.

I liked it the most. They worked a lot on memory care, which I thought as probably the best with our situation here, and I thought that was their finest point. The staff was really very good. When you walked in, you would see a big activity room; everybody was there, and they were doing things. They had much more to offer for the people that were in there in trying to keep them losing what they had right now. The rooms were very nice and clean.

Everyone was very friendly here, and Mom moved into this facility about a week ago. They allow pets like cats and dogs. They also allow the staff members to bring in their children on the weekends to visit, and it is just a very homey atmosphere. The rooms are very big, modern, and clean. I was able to eat there, and their food was very good. They have all sorts of activities and various games, like bingo.
