My husband has been at Brookdale La Crosse for two weeks now. I did not actually tour it, but I sat in his room just to give him comfort. I saw where the dining room was, I met three or four of the staff members, and they were all very nice. They have been very nice on the phone, and they have been e-mailing me, too. I plan to go next week, but they didn't want me to come right away because he should acclimate himself to the place without family. For visitations, you make an appointment, which I think was mostly because of COVID, but two people can visit at once. My husband's room has a low bed because he has been falling out of it. It has a rubber mat around it. His room has a little dresser and a larger dresser with a TV on it. There is a comfortable straight chair, but we're taking up a recliner. Everything was furnished. It has a bathroom with a shower, which is handy for him. My husband goes to the dining area with help. I'm very impressed. They have been very attentive. They call and talk to me a lot. This morning he said the food was very good. He had sausage and pancakes, and he remembered that. There are no stairs or anything, so it's good. I don't know what the activities are, but they keep him very busy. When he first got there, he used to call me four or five times, and now it is down to about one.

We didn't like Brookdale La Crosse at all. I thought the memory care unit was overcrowded. The rooms were too small to have decent-sized windows. The dining rooms were very small and crowded. The whole place just felt tight and cramped. The staff that we met during the tour seemed to be first-rate. They seemed to be doing their job well.

Brookdale La Crosse is a beautiful facility. They have nice rooms with their own bathrooms. The staff was wonderful, they explained everything, and they took us on a tour of the whole facility. Everybody seemed really cheerful, and friendly. They have tons of activities, they have something you can do all day long. They go on trips, do crafts, and there's entertainment. The dining and cooking area is beautiful, they have chefs, and the menu looked good. However, they didn't have licensing for the nursing staff.

My father is at Brookdale La Crosse. They’re very good, very caring, loving, and very respectful of the patients. We’re really happy with it. It’s a great, beautiful facility. My aunt and uncle were here from Montana yesterday and they thought it was awesome. It’s nice and big. We’re happy with it. My father loves it.

The staff Clare Bridge of LaCrosse was very helpful. The rooms were beautiful. We did not taste the food, but the menu looked really good, and the dining room was very nice. I was impressed by its friendliness and cleanliness, and it was very appealing.
