My father had gone through rehab at Woodside Lutheran Home. They were awesome. The staff was very caring and very good to him. They were very accommodating. They provided three meals a day, and they were good. He seemed to enjoy the food. It's a clean facility.

I did a tour of Woodside Lutheran Home, it was good. I had a nice tour with one of the people there, and they showed me everything that they had to offer. The staff was helpful. The rooms were small. The living atmosphere was good.

I has to write this as soon as I could so no one goes through what I did. Totally unorganized. Meds were never handed out at the same time, then I was given THE WRONG MEDICATION!! Constantly had to wait for someone to come and help, the aids were on overload, it was stressful everyday. Never left my room the whole time I was there. Didn't even know they had a therapy room, I did all my therapy in bed or they used a wheelchair to take me to the bathroom, instead of the walker because it was easier for them. How am I going to get stronger?? I never did. I started to use the walker on my own to gain strength because I wasn't going to get the help I needed. If I hadn't pushed myself, I would still be there. This place is only good if there is nowhere else to go, which was pretty much my situation. I would not recommend this facility at all. I have a lot of empathy for those that are still there.

Not a good place to stay. I was there for a short while to rehab my broken pelvis. Staff is very inexperienced. I really felt like they did not have the knowledge to work with in this setting. Seemed I always had to wait a half hour for my pain medication after requesting it. The rehab manager is like talking to a wall.

Some are very nice staff, however level of care needs work. Nurses always on their cellphones, directors seem snobby and pushed my concerns about care for a loved one to someone else. Tried to get help with wifi once for dads laptop, and lady that came in was condescending to us.

My mother liked Woodside Manor right when she walked in and liked how the place looked, so that's why we chose them. It seemed like a warm place to be. They had a nice activity center. My mother was worried about the food, but she liked it. From what I've seen, the staff was really nice.

Not impressed with this facility. Very expensive. Not enough for residents to do. Other than eating the residents are scattered about sleeping. Residents seem so lonely and not happy. Staff to resident ratio is very high. 2 staff per manor (44 residents) with 1 floater. Often times my mom would have to wait an hour before assistance would come. I personally was having conversations with staff members and resident call buttons went off. The staff ignored the beeping for our entire 20 minute conversation. This occurred many times. Some very excellent staff. High turnover rate. Don't feel many of these young people have the skills necessary to work with elderly population. administration makes decisions without thinking about how it affects a resident or there family members emotionally. So hard to explain but would recommend looking elsewhere. We have found a much better place with a warmer , friendlier, more caring and compassionate staff who really enjoy being with and interacting with the residents.

Woodside Lutheran Home was very nice, and the staff was very good. It's a very nice place to be, and it has activities for people to do. They have crafts, Bingo, and a lot of different things to keep them busy. It was excellent; they have an area where they do rehab, and they also have a nursing home. It's a little pricey.

My dad's stay at Woodside Lutheran Home was wonderful. I had recommended them to a friend. They just updated everything. The people there were awesome with him although he said they didn't spent enough time with him either. He didn't like the food, but it looked more appealing, and other people that lived there that I talked to really liked it. They had a lot more activities. The people were wonderful, and I thought they did everything. I thought they had more training, and they seemed happy to be there. It was cleaner, decorated beautifully, and the food was better.

I cannot endorse this facility. The staff seemed distant and uncaring. My dad was neglected. We're shocked that he was left unattended after calling for help-numerous times. Not a good staff-resident ratio. The RNs leave way too much to staff. Go elsewhere! They're more concerned with taking your money than caring for your loved one!

The staff are very helpful, friendly, compassionate and patient to dad in Woodside. Dad had no complaints with the food. The place feels like an institution but also homey because of the birds and other nice things in there. It would be nice if they have larger rooms.

Upon walking into my great-grandmothers nursing home I thought the facility was nice. Woodside had several seating areas and many activity rooms for their residents. I thought this home suited the needs of my grandmother and many other residents. As I continued to visit her on several occasions, I noticed several negative aspects of the facility. I noticed that the staff to resident ratio was extremely unbalanced which caused a hectic and stressful environment for not only the staff but the stress also fell upon their residents. My family would go there every day to talk my grandmother for a walk because the staff would forget to or would be too busy to make the walk worthwhile. I also saw that every resident in Woodside had a roommate. The size of the rooms had extremely limited space but adding another person made it extremely uncomfortable. After several situations of my grandmother being neglected we decided to transfer her to another facility.
