Our mother was recently in the rehab wing of The Odd Fellows Home after leaving the hospital for pneumonia and a fractured shoulder. We can’t say enough about the positive experience she had there. Everyone was so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable right down to the maintenance staff. When it was obvious that it was time to transition our 93 year old mother into a nursing home setting we didn’t hesitate to place her at The Odd Fellows Home. The guidance we got from everyone there was beneficial for a smooth transition. We look forward for our mother to continue to enjoy her time there.

My mother fell and broke her leg in 2 spots. We chose this facility based on ratings, hoping that we would be at ease knowing she'd be well cared for. Please do not send your loved ones here! My mom had 2 late meals, and one they totally forgot about and scrapped what they could find to give her dinner that night! She went 10 hours without pain meds, when she needed it every 4-6 hours. She was left on the toilet over 30 minutes, until she managed to get herself into the wheel chair and back to her chair, because she was in so much pain! She was not supposed to be left unattended to use a wheel chair on her own! I have made 2 calls to their corporate office and one to the state of Wisconsin!

My husband was at Odd Fellow Home. It was absolutely wonderful. We were very lucky where we ended up. They were so helpful. He was in there for therapy because he had broken his hip. The PT was wonderful and the occupational therapist was good. They got him up and moving every day. He didn't take part in the activities, but they had good ones. The food was better than good. I would leave about 4:00 in the afternoon and he would be very upset, and every night a woman would come in and would make him laugh. It helped to get me out of there without causing any more commotion. I could call at night and say there's a football game on and turn on the TV in his room. I can't say enough about them. I highly recommend them to people who need therapy. They were in the process of redoing a floor when I was there, but overall, it was clean, and the bathrooms were really good.

My mom ended up in the hospital and then went to Odd Fellow Home. She's in the rehab area for now. She went in the day before Thanksgiving and it's been pretty good. It started off with kind of a slow start, but it's going good now. She's having OT and PT and most of them are very helpful for her. They're good. The rehab was more of a hospital situation. She just has her room and it's set up quite a bit like a hospital room. She hasn't been getting out and doing any activities. She's in a private room. They have a salon, and on Wednesday they're having a Christmas party. They have different activities and different things. Medicare is paying right now, but if she were on her own, it would be very high.

My wife was at Odd Fellow Home for a number of months. She was very sick. She was in a nursing room for over 20 years but it’s still VERY nice. They tore the old buildings down and put up new ones. I also spent two weeks in the rehab building that was connected to the whole system after my wife died. I could not ask for anything more for either my wife or myself. It’s very clean. It’s more of a home environment; very comfortable. They took VERY good care of her. They were very nice and very kind. The nurses and aides were very sweet. They’re very quick and very prompt. I’d recommend it to everybody.
