I have been in there a few times, strictly for their Rehab facility. That is the only well functioning part of the whole facility. I left there without a wheelchair, my neighbor got me one. I couldn't access any room in my home including the bathroom. My neighbor got me a camode. I was suppose to have an apparatus for my hand that goes on to a walker (carpal tunnel surgery). Social Worker told me twice she ordered it. I have been home now 2 weeks and still don't have it. A therapist called to check on it, was told can'tget it because I didn't get my walker from them! I ended up ordering and paying for my own even though I had a prescription from my. surgeon. I had a broken leg and also had carpal tunnel surgery (virtually use of 1 hand and 1leg). The whole time I was there except for 2 days, I struggled to dress myself, everyday! There is no excuse for patients call lights not being unanswered for extended lengths of time.. They may be short handed (3 staff walked off in 1 night and a 4th who was 1of the good, caring nurses gave her notice as well . I would never put anyone I loved in a facility like this one. I felt compelled to notify the State Ombudsmen due to the medications issue. Not to mention the total lack of care. Medications were distributed up to and Over state guidelinesby as much as 3 hours. That could be deadly to some patients such as a diabetic. Terrible service by a majority of CNA's and, some nurses. The good ones who ACTUALLY took care of patients were run ragged with no acknowlegdement of exceptional service to patients.

My husband is already in Frederic Nursing & Rehab. It's very clean. They're very caring, very empathetic, and my husband has been very happy there. They're a little short handed, but they do whatever they can. I haven't tried the food, but he's been very pleased with it. He's in a room with another person. It's very bright, and it's got everything in it that's necessary. The facility is very nice, and the maintenance is excellent. The value for the money is fine.

My father was Frederic Nursing & Rehab and this facility was excellent. It was very beautiful. My dad loves this place. The food was good. They give the residents enough to eat and they have snacks in between. He was happy with the staff as they were very friendly.
