I had a good tour at St. Francis Apartments. I liked the idea that it was just independent living since I'm able to take care of myself and I'm still in good health. They have a large room there where they can socialize. They serve meals if you prefer to do that. The person that did the tour was really nice and very friendly. Their apartments had a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a small kitchenette. It looked nice, very, very well-kept, and very clean.

I thought this place had a great area. There is a cute little park across the street and a dormitory. There are plenty of side walks and there is the hospital right by. There are a lot of great walks near by and my grandparents smoke, they are able to look at nice things while they sit and smoke. It is right next to campus so it is fun for them to see young people. My grandparents never complain about the staff. They seem to be respectful and helpful. It is giving my grandparents just the amount of care that they require. There are fun activities for them to do which is great for them. They seem to really like getting to know the other people. The only complaint they seem to have is with their rooms, which seem nice to me. My grandparents think they are too small and they want to be able to smoke in their rooms. I live in a dorm room so the rooms seemed spacious and nice. I think this facility helped my grandparents greatly with the transition between home living and assisted living.
