I was too there for 3 months as a patient. The people on staff were always friendly and helpful. The therapy staff is excellent. Food was fair. There were some missteps with my discharge protocol and paperwork that could be handled better.

Administration is non-responsive. We had several issues with lost clothing and medication dispensing. We asked for Whitney (Director of Nursing) to come see my mother in her room to talk about these issues. She never stopped by even after being there a week. Be prepared to be lied to or ignored. This facility tells families and patients what they want to hear. My biggest complaint is that you can never seem to speak directly to anybody in charge. Don't know exactly who is in charge, but decisions are not made consistently. The facility is generally clean and staff is friendly. The nurses are caring and the rehab therapists are great. It can be a bit slow to get someone to come to a patient's room, but otherwise the nurses act in the best interest of the patients. Clothes and other possessions will disappear. The facility does a good job of physical therapy. I would be concerned about having a loved one with serious illness here as it is next to impossible to discuss the situation with the staff as they are either overworked or unresponsive.

The facility is generally clean and staff is friendly. The nurses are caring and the rehab therapists are great. It can be a bit slow to get someone to come to a patient's room, but otherwise the nurses act in the best interest of the patients. The food is not great. Clothes and other possessions will definitely disappear, so I would not take anything nice there. My biggest complaint is that you can never seem to speak directly with a doctor and the social workers are either overworked or not responsive. I have been waiting for weeks for a call back from the Dr or Social worker to discuss care for a resident who experienced a sudden decline after an onsite fall. I was satisfied with the facility before this incident, but I am now less satisfied given the lack of communication on patient status, care plan, needs and preferences. The facility does a good job of physical therapy after a fall, minor surgery or illness, but I would be concerned about having a loved one with serious illness here as it is next to impossible to discuss the situation with the facility doctors, advocates, social workers.

Be prepared to be lied to. This facility tells families and patients what they want to hear. Don't know exactly who is in charge, but decisions seem to be made randomly. I was/am upset with current room size. They have two of us in one of the smallest rooms in facility. Was told this would be taken care of. That was over a week ago and still nothing has been done.

My father is in the nursing home at Morgantown Health and Rehabilitation Center. We've been pleased, but he's not in great shape, so the quality of life is kinda low, but it's fine. The staff is very nice. The room is not that rich, but it's fine. Their staff is friendly and caring. Their facility is clean, and they're doing everything they can in terms of the COVID situation. They're not having anyone come in. We have to stand at the window of his room and look in. They're kinda like a gazebo, it's clean, and well kept. It's not high-end, but for somebody that's not a wealthy person, it's nice.

Nurses are always on there phones and patients lights were on. I had a loved one there and went to the desk to ask questions and waited 10 minutes while the nurse was on her cell. Finally I pounded my hand on the desk to get her attention. Went I went in after I got done work, the garbage was over flowing, I took it and put it by the door and the floors were filthy. Never would recommend this place to anyone.

Golden LivingCenter is not good; we’re trying to move her. They don’t have enough staff. The rooms were not good. The dining room is OK. They were way overpriced -- $7500 a month. They can improve on everything.

I visited this facility and was not impressed at all. There didn't seem to be enough staff on hand. The residents did not appear to be happy there at all. I did like the fact that it was really close to the hospital.
