Dunbar Center has been very good to my mom. She's had very good care. The whole place is very clean and she's very comfortable in her room. She's having physical therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. She's been to the dining area a few times. One day some of the employees were dressed up like in their Christmas costumes, and they had their dogs dressed. Then they had this little parade in all the halls and my mom really enjoyed that. The only thing is sometimes when she turns on her call light, it's a long time before they come.

The rehab team is excellent at this facility first of all! My mother was suffering from some major declines in her health recently and it took us all by surprise when she went from caring for herself daily to barely being able to lift her head from the bed. After being admitted to Dunbar Center for a short stay, Mom was back up on her feet in what seemed like no time. The staff was so warm and welcoming and really just like family after quickly getting to know most of the team. We would absolutely recommend care at Dunbar to anyone in need and Lord forbid will be return customers if life drives us that direction.

If I could give them 0 stars I would! I have had a family member transfer to the place from a hospital!! Where they had open heart surgery surgery and was in a ventilator for almost 3 weeks! When they was in the hospital they got test 2 times for COVID-19 and they was both negative! They was doing better in the hospital and was able to go to a Rehabilitation place. To help them get back in theirs feet! They was in there 8 day and in quarantine they end up getting COVID-19!! Now is of in the hospital. They are so sick that they had to bag them!! Now had to be transferred back to the place they got their heart surgery done at cause they are super sick!! They didn’t Neglected them in more ways then one!! We have tried to get ahold of our family member since they was place there, and couldn’t even talked to her!! They nurse keeep things a Secret! My family member even fell and hurt them self’s and didn’t even call us to get us know! They had fallen 3 times!! And we NEVER got a call!! They are blaming our family member for turning down her own oxygen! Our family member can’t even stand up!! DONT TAKE YOUR LOVES ONES HERE AT ALL!!!!!!!!!

Dunbar Center is good, but the price is too high for me to stay there. It is a nursing home, and my husband had therapy there every day. The people were very friendly and very nice. The room he had was a semi-private although the room he has now has more room in it than here. They have activities like bingo and church services. They have all kinds of things every day. He never complained about the food, and he thought it was really good. I checked the menu a lot of times, and they had a very good menu. The main thing is tht it is close to home, and he was in there under Medicare, but when Medicare quit helping, I had to move him somewhere I could afford.
