My mother was here for eight months. She just slowly went downhill and she wanted me to do more things. If it's assisted living, we could've stayed there, but she loved it when she was there. It was great. I got to help her with crafts and with beading. Colette was an absolute lifesaver. She went above and beyond her duties. She also let me talk to mom when she was nervous or upset. Mom didn't want to come out of her room at first and I didn't realize that she was nervous because my mother's never been nervous to go meet people at all. She did and finally came out and sat in the very back of the dining area. Overall, the experience was really nice. We love CJ, too. All the staff was really nice and understanding. The biggest problem we had was getting mom her meals from the kitchen. If it didn't get to her room, Collette would take it or Roseanne. They would go down and make sure she had her food and they'd take it to her because my mom got to where she couldn't walk. All of the staff was good. It's just the younger people never talk to me. They were nice, but sometimes, they get flighty. Every now and then, her meal would get later, but she always got something. Their food was really good. For independent, I understand they can't really offer healthy food (for heart or diabetic). My husband and I ate there quite often, and it was just awful salty for the age of people that were there. My mother loved her room. In fact, she was heartbroken that we had to transfer her out. They make you feel like family. They were always willing to help. The food tasted good. It's just a lot of times when my mom would eat there, she would have to go home and it would upset her tummy. She never used the amenities. I loved the little exercise room downstairs. The computer room was like their computer/TV room, and there was one lady who comes down there every day and played on it. I've seen people use it, just my mother couldn't.

I went to look here. The manager sat with us and talked for quite a while before taking the tour, so we were kind of prepared. It's four stories, and they have one elevator. It was more community living because all your meals had to be gotten in the dining hall. Your laundry has to be done on your own. They have a couple of different sizes of apartments. It was all very clean and organized. They had some community rooms that had different activities set up and a nice library. Everybody was very friendly, and each resident had their own apartment. It was very homey. Some people had little dogs, so they have a fenced-in area around their back door if they were on the ground level.

My father-in-law will be moving into here. We loved everything about it, and so did my father-in-law. My husband and I looked at it first, and then we took him, and he fell in love with the place. We liked the fact that the three meals will be there for him every day. The place is very clean and everybody that we've talked to has been very friendly. The manager helped us out tremendously. We just love them. My father-in-law liked it. He walked through the facility, and we like all the amenities that it has to offer for him, and the different socialization rooms. Due to COVID, it's kind of quiet right now, but he really loved the facility, and all the amenities that they offer. We like the location, and the security was a big thing for us, and we really loved that. He will be on the second floor, and he liked the view. The apartment was perfect for him. He did the walkthrough, he loved it, and we found out even the amenities in the room were perfect. The tub that has the lower step to get in is perfect, the size is perfect, the size of the room is perfect. All the storage area and closet space are great. We really love it. The menu was very satisfying and has what we want our father-in-law to have.

We're very satisfied. We have no complaints about anything. They have been super nice to us and super accommodating. We're very satisfied with the food, the employees, and the residents. We know a lot of people who live there, so it's an easy move for us. They have more activities than we will ever be able to participate in.

I loved it very much. They have some activities and things. We're looking forward to when my aunt makes the move. It's nice and secure. We liked it very much. You order all your meals restaurant style. They do your linens twice a month and they clean your room once a week. It seemed like a nice place. They have exercises. It seemed very organized, very friendly, and very inviting. The facility seemed clean. Everybody I dealt with was fine. Everybody was ready for my appointment. There was no misunderstanding or anything like that. It was very easy.

We tried to find something wrong but we couldn't. The food was excellent. The service was great. They had a fairly large dining area that was well-lit and very clean. It was just a wonderful experience. The staff was so wonderful. I personally don't remember the name of the young man who took us on a tour but he was really good. When we were almost done eating dinner, the chef came out and talked with anybody who would talk to him, and he asked how the meal was, what we liked and didn't like, and it was just great. All the people there are very friendly and outgoing. They all said, "We want for you to make this your home, like how you would like to have it in your own home." It was wonderful. We heard them playing an instrument, which I believe was a guitar, but we weren't in that part of the building while that was going on. They had different activities going on throughout the day, so you're not left on your own. It was really great. I talked to a couple of the people who had lived there for three years or longer, and they had nothing but wonderful things to say about the staff, food, and everything. It was just really wonderful.

It didn’t smell, seemed to have a lot of activities, and looked like it had good meals. They had bible classes, exercise classes, craft classes, and extracurricular field trips to local theaters and musicals. They had a vehicle that would take you where you want to go if you didn’t want to drive. The staff seemed nice, and the people having lunch seemed good.
