My friend is being cared for after a fall, and she told me she would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place for good care. She said the staff is wonderful, the food is good, the room is nice. I don't think she has been able to do activities yet so I don't have a comment about that. Or the amenities. I'm just glad my friend feels she is being well cared for

Woodland Care Center was clean. The rooms that they offer were very small. That's the only thing that deterred me from going there. The food was OK. Everyone was very cordial and very polite. The staff who showed us around was very informative. She was good. She explained everything well.

My mother-in-law has moved into Woodland Care Center. My husband knows somebody that works there, so he talked to them and we were able to get her into there. We met them, we dropped her off, we talked to her, and left. So far it's been fine. We need to call them today because I need to get some more information about who takes care of her catheters, specifically if we need to do that or if the insurance does. It looked fine on the outside. It's obviously like a lot of older buildings. It looked perfectly fine. The people seemed to be very attentive when they came out to talk to us and were welcoming. It takes us close to 45 minutes to an hour to get there. It's pretty much right around the main old town square.

We chose the Woodland because it has everything that is required for care for my mom, and it is only 10 minutes from my house. The staff working there has been nice and wonderful. They seem to be cheerful all the time. They seem to be helpful. The room is a little small; it is just a studio apartment. It is nice enough though. The facility is kind of a rehab place, and we needed a spot that is a rehab place because my mom broke her arm.

My mother was in Woodland Care Center and while we had her in there, she was taken care of extremely well. It was always clean, the care was always really good, and the people were always very personable. They made the family involved and explain things to you. They were real good at that. They have private and semi-private rooms. When she was in there, she was in a private room, and it was always kept very clean. The nurses and most of the upper staff were very good in explaining things to you. They explained what they were doing and why they did or didn't do something. They were good, and they were welcoming families. But the CNAs and the other help are not so great. All in all they were good.
