We placed my mother-in-law in the Warm Beach Health Care Center. She was in their skilled nursing wing for a few months. They were great. My mother-in-law was very happy there and they were just super helpful to her so she loved it there. The care was great, the people were great and the services were great. The facility itself could use a bit of updating. Besides that, all the service that we received there was wonderful.

Warm Beach appealed to me more because they had more activities. They had social classes, ceramics, music, choirs and a lot of things that I would be interested in. The people were a little more active. It was an entire community. They had everything there from camping to independent living to assisted living to full-term care. All together, they had about 300 units. The reason why they had a long wait list there was that anytime the assisted living became available, if they had somebody in the independent living that was waiting, of course they would give it within their own community first. The rooms were a little small. They had a little like a camping refrigerator that was about 2x2 and there was no microwave, so I would have to buy my own refrigerator and a microwave. There was very little closet space, but all of the units opened to a beautiful courtyard. They had chairs in each apartment there so you could enjoy the outdoors. That was very nice. They allowed pets and I had a cat. The staff was very cordial. I did not see anything that would turn me off. They had a lovely food service. They would bring you coffee in the morning. They had a lot of things and services that other places did not have. I thought it would be a very pleasant place to live.

I have visited all areas of Warm Beach Senior Community MANY times in my career as an EMT over the past 12 years, I can compare this facility to several others in the area. Overall the residents here seem very happy and there really is a sense of community here. In the nursing area I have been very impressed with the staff. I believe the patients here are very well taken care of by a nursing staff that truly cares. I have recommended this facility to friends who were looking for a suitable home for their mother. There are other similarly equipped facilities in the area that I have been disgusted with on multiple occasions. always do your homework on senior communities and feel free to ask the the local Firefighters/EMS providers about what facilities may be better than others, we get a pretty good inside look
