My mother is at Josephine Caring Community. Right now, she's in long-term care. She's also been in the rehab portion of it. The staff is very good. She's sharing a room, and the only downside is that they got them crammed into a room, which seems a little too tight. Otherwise, I think they take good care of them. The food is in the middle of the road, not great, not terrible. It has a very friendly atmosphere. The facility is well cared for. It's a great place for someone with advanced illnesses, with the correct amount of care for those.

My brother is presently at Josephine Caring Community. They take very good care of him. and he gets pretty good meals. I just get a little frustrated, having to make an appointment to visit my brother. I'm sure a lot of facilities do the same way. The facility is very clean. Yesterday, I met a gentleman in a wheelchair while I was there and he sounded really happy. I met another lady who's in the assisted living and she's been there for 12 years, and she's just happy and she loves the way people treat her. They also do a lot of stuff for different people in different aspects. They have a daycare for kids with terminal diseases and they get all the love and socialization that they need from the staff, and I appreciate that. The building is pretty flat and kind of in a drawn-out area, but they let my brother wander often. He has physical therapy for three days and if he wants to get up and kind of wander the halls in his area or if he wants to go down and find a book, he can do that. Yesterday afternoon, his physical therapist took him outside to walk, so he wasn't kept totally in the building. My uncle visited him over the weekend and they were able to go outside in the sun for a couple of hours too. The other morning, I got an automated call from Josephine Caring Community that they had a couple of residents who had respiratory issues. They were just working people away, which shows that they care about my brother, to inform us what was going on.
