This facility has recently come under new ownership about 2 years ago. The rooms have recently been remodeled and the atmosphere is a great change from when we visited the first time in 2013. The staff are bright, cheerful and care about those they assist, the food was great, they have a great activities program and overall our experience was above par. I would definitely send my loved one here when the time comes.

Very professional staff. A very comfy place to live for medium-risk patients. It's nicely located about 5 minutes away from several grocery stores, yet also isn't in a high traffic area. The staff were trained to help people do basic things such as wash, use the toilet, and eat. Their rooms were also quite comfortable, with an electric reclining chair, a TV with cable, a comfortable bed, and a very large cabinet with a refrigerator for foods. A good choice for anyone, certainly better than some of the other homes I've been to in the Spokane area.

Willow Grove Home is a clean, but lonely place to spend ones final years. The home outwardly is aesthetically beautiful, with well cared for trees and bushes. However, indoors the place is lifeless. Stained carpeting and bathroom walls are hit with sound waves from repeated "oldies" that the sound system emits. The staff has its great and not so great members. The owner is accommodating, working alongside his employees with no sense of pride. He helps the residents with all of their needs. At times certain members of the staff could be impatient with guests. Guests are also subject to a weekly schedule that goes unchanged unless there is an approaching holiday. The highlight of the facility is the dining area and its food. Residents are served nutritious meals and the furnishings are tasteful. The ultimate criterion unto which I judge Willow Grove is whether or not I would send a loved one to stay there if I was forced to choose an assisted living provider. The answer is no.
